I bring you, the power of the FotH Crusader as it stands at the moment. I am expecting nerfs to this in the future, the Firestarter rune in particular for Akarat's Champion will probably be toned down.

I apologise in advance for the screen shake, it's part of the spell FotH and it's one of the things that makes me want to consider alternative builds.

A T6 rift done on my Crusader. One Conduit pylon that probably saved about 1 min of clear time:

True but I've had maybe 10 legendaries drop since I first played on release to this day, and when somebody is getting 1-3 orange/green drops per floor of the rifts you're doing, and you get nothing, bleh. :p



Yeah the dropped loot is terrible, but the amazing gem/passive system and ingenious crafting and gear making system more than make up for it.

POE for me was unplayable due to desync.
Its for those hardcore players
 
I must have crafted about 20 aughild spikes(helm) now and I still haven't got the roll I'm looking for (int/vit(or all res)5% crit/socket).

Are these things really this difficult to get right?

Similar to what I'm running... FOTH spam really but with electricity as my elemental.

Pretty insane attack speed really tbh, finding it a fun build with a lot of survivability and decent damage.

Liking you Akkan 6 set :) got 3 bits, just need 2 more really (with RORG). I have a deadmau5 amulet that would work well with it - has 15%+ vs elites and -15% dmg from elites, and "when you use Akarats Champion, you mesmerize nearby enemies with your skill, causing them to jump uncontrollably for 7 seconds" :)

Harringtons is up a lot, definitely need to get me one of those and a decent SoJ :( i think thats about the only thing differing between us right now.

I wipe the floor with T5, i reckon T6 is definitely doable just a bit slower, Harrington and SoJ will greatly increase the clear times, tempted to try out a Halcyons also, will lose some CC and CHD but i think the elite dmg and +fire will cover those losses

Its the basic FoTH spam spec now tbh, and Lightning is nice but once you go 6 piece you really want to switch to Fire, Fire Starter rune on AC is hideously overpowered right now.

As you can see its not far off Eulogys gear, same build, SoJ is my weakspot right now, i can faceroll T5 so T6 is definitely doable but probably slightly slower than Eulogy can do it right now.

I need to gamble a better shield, Need something close to the Hellskull but better ;)

Yeah, I'm having quite a lot of luck.. hope it continues! Managed to pick up another FoTF which is much better. Still no sign of a Darklight, in fact 1H Flails in general seem mega rare.

That's really nice speed, I keep thinking Darklight FoTH builds would be really rough for Wrath regen but you seem to manage just fine for the most part.

The key to the wrath regen is Provoke and Shield Glare with the Wrath Rune, also taking Long arm of the law passive and the extra wrath on the law, helps maintain a good amount of wrath.

Aye, at the moment I have all of those. I'm trying out the holy shotgun with my FoTF but even with all those I just don't have the sustain to keep it going, and find myself running around waiting for cooldowns to come off (with 33.3% CDR). Would you suggest re-rolling stuff to get more CDR to sustain it? Such as I can re-roll 45% crit damage off gloves for 8% CDR, but that seems like quite a chunky damage drop.

Wrath is only really a problem on single target boss fights when everything is on CD, once CD's come back up you can spam some more FotH.

I still think if Firestarters gets nerfed in the future this build will be nowhere near powerful enough to be this fast, at the moment it's ticking 50M+ depending how much you spam abilities on things.

Yeah it's a loss of a passive slot, but 10 Sec of spamming almost free stuff on a 30 sec CD with 50% CDR is pretty awesome, as it's up quite a bit.

That is what I did. 45% CHD is good and all, but CDR = more Akarats so I would say you want 45%+ CDR on char screen almost no matter what build you take, closer to 50% is ideal. This is easier with 1H due to Fervor but can be done with 2h weps, esp if you get 10% CDR on the wep itself as a roll.

Cheers. I actually managed to get another pair of Akkhan gloves when spamming for a Magefist so I re-rolled for 6% on those. Dropped RRoG and put 6 pieces back on, then made a ring with str/crit/crid/cdr which will do me until I can get a Unity. Up to 41.1% from 33.3%, and it's definitely easy to manage the 40 wrath cost.

Still no decent Aughilds Helm, lost count of the amount I've made now.

Just got a fairly decent tal rasha's helm but I don't have any other pieces:
