I don't usually get really lucky with drops, but this is a real keeper.

Healing Chains on elites instead of Fire Chains. Healing Explosions (molten). Fire on ground that heals me up. Those Morlu guys that summon healing meteors?

Yes please! :D

There are so many things this amulet works with it's amazing. Sure I miss 10% Crit but you can make up crit elsewhere, this is so worth it.

Broke 1m ingame dps on my WD earlier :D
Linky

Had the amulet and chestpiece drop earlier. Splashed out on some better gems too. Just need to reroll the amulet for critical damage!

Really great amulet, congrats! I think I remember reading that Fire Chains, Desecrator and Mortar all do physical damage... but they might have fixed that though as that was a while ago (hopefully!). It's so hard to get a good amulet, especially one with a resist absorb like the Star or Julia's Cameo.

Nice, that rift is rarer than tasker and theo gloves lol.

Yeah :/ Done nearly 1400 Rifts now and I've yet to see it.

fairly common, not seen the cow rift either, HH has had it twice now

Ahh ok, I just ask because I got the pony rift with my mate and it was genuinely only the 4th rift I had ever done in D3. Didn't really think much of it at the time and if it isn't that rare, then not so amazing after all haha.

Just wondering, i rolled a Tall man's finger Ring

o 79-154 damage
447 int
460 vit
Crit Chance 6%

Trying to get CHD (up to 50%), do you think that still a better option that the measly 79-154 damage? Think 50 or close as to 50% CHD better right?

Was originally WD fetish build. Finally got the full Zunni but not as great as i expected :(

However half converting it to this hellhound burning dog build which seems to melt everything.

Gave some Torment 6 rifts a go on my Crusader with a shotgun set-up. Went pretty well, switched over to Prophet rune for Akarat's champion rather than having to rely on double unity rings. First rift run took 7 minutes, second run took 13, third one took 9... so guessing 5 - 15 minutes on average based on map, density, mob types etc.

FoTH would definitely be faster, the huge health pool of some mobs and the boss would be more beneficial with the stacking damage from Akarat's Fire Starter... but I thoroughly expect this to get nerfed, it's too powerful. Also, the frontal cone radius on Heaven's Fury even with a FoTF is not massive.

Also, servers are having trouble at the moment. See here

Can anyone please offer further advice on my wizards gear?

The shoulders I need to craft more to try and get a higher int, need a new amulet (but no idea where to get it from, should I buy them with shards from Kadala)

I do have better magefists than the ones I'm wearing at the moment but I want with these ones as I needed the extra toughness.

Both of the rings I could re-roll for higher crit hit dmg but it requires a lot of gems.

Could still do with some better Vyrs legs.

Anything else I could change?

Cheers

You could do with a Fire SoJ, or a Unity, as the Arcane Damage bonus is doing nothing for you. As you mentioned you need a new amulet. If you have an abundance of marquise gems then just make them from the Jeweller. You can still get a very good amulet from crafting (15% Fire, 625 Int, 100% Crit Damage, 10% Crit at most). RRoG could use Crit rather than Crit Damage.

Just made a better amulet with 14% fire damage, high crit hit and high crit dmg with decent int. :)

Lost as bit of toughness though.

Not been playing D3 long. I played the Starter Edition just before RoS came out and bought the bundle.

Now I really enjoy my Monk but I've been struggling to get high DPS out of it; saying that sheet damage seems to be really misleading, I recently re-geared and specced for toughness and lost 100k in sheet damage and I'm killing just as fast.

Every time I look at peoples profiles with twice the damage I do it seems they all gear for crit chance and damage; is it really that simple?

Saying that I'm actually quite happy with my survivability now; on 10mil toughness in game.

Anyway any Monks on here give me some tips I'd appreciate it.

My Monk Profile

Also I saw someone in chat with an <OcUK> tag, do we have a guild?
