I have not slanted nVidia on this sabotage Gameworks thingamibob, I have just been reading trying to make sense of it all.

All I know is over the years you take with a pinch of salt the slurring against one another that they do. If you get what you want when your buying at the time, brand rarely influences what I buy especially computer components.

You aren't allowed to be neutral on this sub forum. People have to place you into a red or green camp to even begin to make sense of your arguments :D

Should be in the setting when you make a account what side your in and if you dont have one it gets picked at random based on your first two posts :P

I dont like taking sides as i run machines with both in and i buy w/e is cheapest for me with the features i want on the day.

I also can see the flaws and benefits both sides have and there no right/wrong if you have a gpu that your happy with thats great
Being in one camp or the other shouldn't blind you to the benefits of the other camp or stop you seeing your own camps flaws

No you have not slated nVidia or AMD and merely picked up on brand loyalties (like you do in most threads) :D

For the record, I am firmly in camp Green :D

I'm just going to leave this here to remind everyone what the topic of this thread is...
What have they done in GameWorks that is bad? I have asked this a couple of times now as well but it gets ignored for more unfounded ramblings.

Instead of an answer we seemed to go off on price wars and does AMD's GPU beat Nvidia's...

I have been guilty of this too, as much as it gets directed at me as well... though to be fair, I have as of yesterday purged all remnants of my attempts of going red and am firmly only in team green for all my machines now
(AMD not being compatible with light pack, and my laptop being used also as a media PC, was the final straw for the 7970m, now I'm just undecided on whether to try selling it, or just smash it with a hammer for all the trouble it's given me)

Definitely a hammer!

He wouldn't, even if he had a faster R9 290 because of his CPU, so it's merely an argument of semantics at the moment.

Not that I think stock versus stock an R9 290 beats a Titan, I think an R9 290X reaches parity with the Titan (Wins on both sides, depending on the games), stock versus stock, but that's about it.

And I know for a fact my R9 290 wouldn't best your Titan :p

It was Gregster who challenged me to beat his Titan, i never said i could, not once.

he's going on as if i said that knowing i didn't, its a distraction tactic because like a spoilt child he can't stand losing the bet we had.

I don't even think you actually had a bet, i remember Greg saying something along the lines of him doubting his Titan(s) would be beaten within 18-24 months or at least expecting them to last that long.

You cannot claim the 290X beats the Titan when all it does it equal it's performance/beats (a few %) on a handful of titles. Just take a butchers at all the bench threads on here.
