Sounds familiarSome people cycle because they enjoy hurting themselves; some people cycle because they enjoy hurting other people![]()
I live by another rule:
"Don't go looking for pain, it will come to you".
And don't forgetI like "Training is like wrestling a gorilla: you don't stop when you're tired, you stop when the gorilla is tired."
First ride of the year in just shorts! Still wearing liner gloves though under my summer gloves. And arm warmers...¬_¬.
Is there like 45 minutes in the middle of august when you get down to just shorts and a t-shirt![]()

I move in two weeks!
After enjoying just ~2k miles on GP4seasons, the recent London-to-Paris trip put a hole in my sidewall. Took a trip to Evans last night and picked up some Gatorskins, as 4seasons were £45 each :/
One ride in the rain later, and I'm tempted to order some more 4seasons online and swap them out - the gators have literally zero grip in the wet! Fishtailing down a hill is not my idea of fun.
Any recommendations (not Vittoria Rubino Pro's, I've tried them and disliked them) for some commuter tyres (25 or 28mm) that have an equal amount of grip to the 4seasons but don't cost 12 million pounds?
15.4oC according to my 800.
It was the lack of wind and morning "freshness" though as well.
