They didn't use to be first party, but they are now.

The company was founded on October 1, 1999 by producer Hirohide Sugiura and director Tetsuya Takahashi after they left Square Co. and accepted an investment from Namco.[2] As of May 6, 2007, Nintendo owned controlling interest in the company after Namco Bandai sold 80% of its 96% stake in Monolith Soft to Nintendo. This went into effect May 1, 2007.[3] Later Namco sold the remaining 16%, making Monolith Soft a first-party developer for Nintendo.

point taken :p but seen as though i have ps4and xbox one ,the only games that interest me are exclusives ;) donkey looks good but not a system seller! same with MH3 and i dislike pikmin :( super mario 3d and mk8 on the other hand do interest me out of the current available games, but i can't justify the outlay at the price the console is at the moment.
 
Well after watching both MS & Sony press conference's I still can't decide between the consoles. Even though I know the PS4 is more powerful & some good stuff like Uncharted, something keeps drawing me to the XO. I do like the look of games like Sunset Overdrive, new Crackdown and the Halo collection. Hate tough choices lol.

Anyone got a list of all the unreleased games? Wouldnt mind figuring out what I could probably buy by next E3 as there were quite a few that were Q3 2015 and beyond it felt like...
