Austrian Grand Prix 2014, Spielberg - Race 8/19

He is destroying him. Plainly obvious to non blinkered hamilton fans.

I think its you who is blinkered by your hate for Hamilton. The guy has had 2 DNFs due to mechanical issues. If we assume he would have finished behind Rosberg in both thoses races then he would have an extra 33 points taking him 4 beyond Rosberg.

Yeah Rosberg is really destoying him isn't he

Plenty of people appear to hate button on here but that doesnt get anyone in a huff.....

Orly? So the 2 DNF (no fault to hammy) are not the cause of the points deficit and purely down to Rosbergs driving and destroying?

Rosberg upped his game, based on the situation.
To win a title, its not about driving fast every race.
Its about driving according to the situation and extracting the maximum points given the car/situation.

This is why Prost was so good - they called him the 'Professor' and he beat Senna in the title race.

Still ignoring the two dnf's for Lewis I see :/

Bottas can take points away from Hamilton, also.
Blimey, this forum is terribly pro-Hamilton.
My point being that when you put Rosberg in amongst other cars, he struggles compared to Hamilton.

If you want an example, re-watch the first half of the race. Or Spain or Bahrain this year.

They called him the 'Professor' for a different reason. But don't let facets get in the way.

Can't wait for the next race.

Without those two almost deliberate looking delays on both of Ham's stops, this result would have easily been a win for the brit.

It was a bit suspect. Nothing seemed to go wrong. His second stop of 4 seconds was weird. 4 seconds is very slow by todays standards.

If I was Hamilton I'd be questioning the team principal why his pit stops are always longer. They robbed him of a race imo. Nice shot of his brakes catching on fire, got worried for a minute he shot his brakes again.
