Austrian Grand Prix 2014, Spielberg - Race 8/19

I definitely don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory but you can't argue with the data.

For some reason, whether it's Lewis or the pit crew making mistakes or it's genuine bad luck, his stops are costing him time in the majority of races.

If it's not Lewis then it's obviously his side of the garage, the blokes on his team aren't as good at Pit Stops as Nico's blokes.

tbf to Lewis (unless someone wants to watch and analyse ALL of the pitstops of each driver so far this season and scrutinise how well each driver stops on their markers) then it's all speculation; if they're both stopping on their markers as well as eachother then it comes down to the blokes behind them and obviously Nico's guys quicker at changing tyres. All there is to it tbh!

Exactly.

I don't pretend to understand the reason behind it, I'm just saying it's happening.

Hopefully the team can work it out and improve over the next couple of races.

I doubt that the team will work hard so that they can beat their own (Nico's) pit crew. And as has been pointed out - its the same pit crew which services both cars.

If Hamilton wants to avoid all this trouble, he should try nailing Q3 on the first lap (something which Nico is doing regularly). If he does that, he wont have to worry about losing 0.2s in a pit-stop.

Yep, same crew. Engineers in the garage are seperate as they work on both cars at once, but the pit crew is a single team made of people taken from other areas of the team.
