What did you do to your bike today?

mines still original it handles ok,but the front end needs major overhaul, still have to replace steering bearings and fit correct size tyre a 165 I think or 160,and fork oil aint been changed since new

those nitron shocks are expensive though but if you need one you need one, shame no one cant rebuild the original units

Gave it a good clean, now up for sale again on autotrader after the total disaster of advertising it on MCN :(

yeah they aren't cheap, I got mine with the help of a bonus.
yes get the oil changed in the forks, I did mine last july and what a difference it makes, the old oil in mine looked like silver paint it was that dirty.
damping great now on them.

Not long back from a quick blast on the Mille. Awesome, just awesome. :D

After a full year not riding it the grin on my face didn't take long to return. It initially complained a bit and spluttered and coughed, kept cutting out but once it cleared its throat so to speak, it went like a proverbial freight train. I kept things sensible though, don't want to try and jump right back to where I was before I laid the bike up, skill wise.

you picked a perfect day for it

been glorius today apart from the odd meat flies hitting you, ouch

heh had one wedge between my head/helmet and could feel it wriggling

Just come back from druids rally mega hot and had a great time, unfortunately I did not have any more space left on the bike for the kitchen sink :D

Do you have to stand to see the dials ?

That bag is enormous...I just bought a oxford mini 1st time bag and for everyday use it's perfect.
One issue though is because I have all my things in it I now carry it around not unlike a handbag :p

Noticed I've done 2000Kms on my bike since my MOT a few weeks back, Was quite shocked as there 90% fun miles. :D

I don't think it helps having a bike that's borderline classic, especially seeing as it's in very good condition for 18 years old. People are phoning expecting it to be in show condition, if it was I'd be asking considerably more - like the other CBR 900s that are over £3K asking
