It's all good practice at the Easy/Normal/Hard difficulties, but when you get to Expert you'll find you take longer to kill the mobs and they really do hurt.

As DH, you're probably the most fragile of all classes, and as the monthly updates would have it, one of the weakest at the moment. So this is a challenging class to play as, but most rewarding I find!

There's a couple full time DHs in the clan, me (f00), Cur50n, TheFallen and probably a few more (who are quieter so don't know about them yet !!).

I'm in the clan and whilst not full time on my dh right now, I do have over 1300 hours played on her and can do T6 quite easily, so quite a bit of experience! Feel free to shoot me a message in game if you want any help. I am Brokkah in game.

Definitely my favourite class but I find the sentry play style a bit boring so waiting for 2.1 to see what options that opens up, particularly hoping they do something useful with the shadow set.

In the meantime I am giving myself migraines with a darklight wielding fire starter crusader!

Been offline over the weekend, wont be back online til Wednesday, geared my DH now alongside my Crus and WD for t6, next up Wiz and then Barb (Barb has a SOH and TF already) finally if i havent gouged my eyes out will be the monk (not looking forward to this one)

Im not far from diablo on hard mode...died for the first time on a stupid fire trap >_<

Am kind of playing a sentry setup, have a few pieces that boost its damage by a bit so gone with that for the second half of the hard campaign, things are taking a bit longer to wear down, but still all good fun :)

WIll prbably hit 60 tonight / early tomorrow so will look into buying RoS when i do so :)

Welcome to the world of Daemonhunter!

You'll get frustrated at first, but this will force you to become more aware of your surroundings and dedicate 2-3 of your abilities on survival (Vault -Tumble; Shadow Power - Blood Moon and Preparation - Battle Scars). You should really use these until you start getting really good gear that provides Life on Hit, Regen and good Resists.

just picked it up again after being away from diablo 3 for a couple of months.

also looking for other alternatives for T6 builds. I hear most people are playing archon with the vyr set. personally never really liked archon though :(

are any other viable options out there?

If you can stack resource reduction/mana regeneration well, then Ray of Frost or Disintegrate builds can be fun. Currently running a ray of frost build and it's quite enjoyable.
However, the best advice I can give any Diablo player is wait to see what drops and adjust your build accordingly. Picking a build and then trying to gear for it is just a recipe for frustration. I wasn;t even thinking about Ray of Frost when the off-hand item that suits the build dropped and now I'm loving it. It might not get me to T6, but there are loads of drops and build changes between now and then.

2x Arcane Orb / lightning wizards + 2x pet build Witch Doctors. Guaranteed lag monsters! :D

My Wizard is Disintegrate build atm. I've got the source that makes Ray of Frost penetrate, but considering my wand has 30% Disintegrate damage... Didn't seem worth using both of them together so stuck with Disintegrate for now!

Team,

I am experiencing laggy play in public games (mainly rifting) and was wondering if anyone can recommend a fix.

In solo play I get a smooth frame rate (reported as 60 FPS) at 2560 x 1440 with settings generally high. In public games its a different story.

I've tried updating graphics driver, dropping resolution, lowering effects, sound channels etc. Some improvement but when the sparks fly in a multi-player rift the frame rate drop and the choppiness starts.

In-game latency indicator is green (30-32 msec reported).

GPU: GTX 670 (driver 337.88)
CPU: Core i7-2600k @3.4GHz
RAM: 4GB
OS: Win 7

Thanks
