I completed a lvl 29 greater rift with about 2.5 minutes to spare at the end. I found the best tactic was to try and not focus on the elites just kind of drag em around with me and focus down the normal mobs instead lol.

If the elite is too annoying to kill I don't tend to bother as well.

Will try a 30 one later :)

Me and Matt completed a 27 last night, i was on WD he was on Crus, and well it wasnt easy lol, it definitely starts ramping up after the mid 20's.

Tbh after playing Greater Rifts im not sure i want to play normal rifts again now lol, one thing i did think though was greater Rifts will be a great way to gear up a character. Start at lvl1 on say normal on a fresh 70 and see how far of a leap you get in difficulty after the boss dies, repeat etc

quick question, if my WD is stacking % Poison Damage. Will rerolling my main weapon damage type receive the bonus from %PD?

ie

Current - 1500 - 2300 Holy Damage
to - 15xx - 23xx Poison Damage

Has anyone got a mod that highlights or changes the cursor?

I'm frequently finding it harder and harder to keep track of my cursor during rifts with lots of mobs and other characters with big graphical abilities.

I had a similar question in the guild and was told it would stack with the %.

It doesnt, because the element of the skill rune you use will change all damage to that element. The game doesnt care which type of element damage is on your weapon anymore, its only purpose now is to change the graphics on death of npcs (fiery explosions, ice shatters etc)

How are the other DH's getting on with the Preperation changes? I don't run a hatred generator and I found that as long as I was killing trash to generate health globes for hatred I was ok; as soon as the trash dried up and I ran out of hatred with prep/companion on cooldown I had to vault away or die which doesn't seem in the spirit of the change.

The greater rifts are good fun though, managed to get to 20ish solo last night before calling it a night.

Thinking to switch builds to maybe strafe now form CA, sentries also got a nice damage buff.

I've been playing with Multishot:Arsenal, spitfire SGs and the ballistics passive which seems quite good and is fairly hatred lite (once you've got the SGs out that is). But yeah, a bit of a rethink is required. I've got a Helltrapper and the K'mar tenclip, might chuck strafe on as well and try a full "Rocketman" build actually....

Completed a lvl 31 rift, almost had 32 as well but died at boss with enough time to kill it if I didn't die, but not enough time to run back to the boss otherwise (boooo).

I find that some of the affixes can really make or break the rifts at this level. Running into a reflect pack, thunderstorm (unavoidable more or less), frozen pulse or arcane beam can really kick your ass quickly.

31 is my limit on the timer too, can always complete but run out of time due to a frozen pulse pack or similar..

I'm seriously wanting a really good blackthorns amulet drop now, they've changed it :) .. then I am thinking going 3/4piece blackthorns for the immunity.. must help loads on grifts..

I've only played a sentry dh so far on the PTR so prep isnt on my hotbar. They have pretty much killed the CA spam builds by putting it on a cooldown.

Definitely some different approaches to be taken to gearing and skill selection for grifts. Whats the change to Blackthorne's Amulet then? I had assumed a Hellfire was going to be the best choice for this slot.

Blackthorns amulet can now roll actually good stats (like the Main stat/Elemental/Crit % and CHD % amulets).

I don't see how you can easily fit 3 pieces in though without an RRoG, for Crusader at least I think that Unity + SOJ may still top it even with the elemental immunity, but maybe not...

Not been online much this last week had a rather unwell rottie at home that ive been attending too. Will hopefully be getting back online soon though

So are you are saying all elemental damage primed on weapons wont stack to & Elemental damage? Is that a new change with the latest patch? I also like FG was under the same impression it did?

more lucky than I thought then - roll wasn't too bad for my character
