Exactly this.

The Act 5 mobs with Anarchs are bad news for me, so fast, deadly charge move, death aura and high toughness.

I'll either need to duo/team up with others for these rifts, or get used to dying a lot.

The maps from Act 5 are mostly bad too, as they deny me much needed dodging space!


Other than that, i'll aim to clear all rift levels.

this is a good start for a WD - will introduce you to some of the abbreviations. i think it is slightly out of date, but by the time you get to the stage of realising that you'll know most of it anyway :)

Problem with monks is, it appears that no one in Blizzard office is actually playing one, so all they do when it comes to the class, is jumble numbers hoping for the best.
 
500k dps? I found with my WD, wizard and crusader that I struggled to get to about 300k but from there jumped to 700k or so quite quickly. My wizard is a proper glass cannon though. About 3m toughness compared to 6 on my WD and around 8 on the crusader! Not really looked into why she is so much weaker.

This is what I found too.

Suddenly after getting a good routine going with Rifts/Bounties/Clan Groups you can get some sweet items. Eventually you'll start getting sets and as they piece together, the bonuses will stack and you will get some rounded stats.

In 2 days my DH went from 450k DPS to 880K DPS due to getting 3 Marauder pieces and a Ring of Royal Grandeur (I had 1 piece already). In game terms, this was the different between me doing Torment lvl 1 levelling, to jumping to Torment 3-4 levelling with same difficulty/ease of killing.
 
My WD is about 1.15m DPS with about 45% elite damage too and 80% poison damage. I still am yet to get a Mask or Taskers so messing about with an acid cloud / piranha / poison dart spam build. T4 is fine. Really need to get some pet items to get any further on though.
 
Just got round to my first T1 Malthael fight through a bounty, failed :(

I just seem to fun out of discipline too quick to be able to keep avoid stuff >_<

Shall leave that one for another day me thinks haha

Both of those items are game changers, even one of them with the stats you've already got will be a massive help and should make T6 viable.

Got my 2nd pair of Taskers the other day, rolled slightly better than 1st but still want a 50% pet attack speed pair.

In all honesty, all of the Act 5 bosses are hard to defeat as DH above Torment 2 even for me now. The main issue is the AOE elemental attacks that are mostly unavoidable.

When I first started, I helped TheNewPsalm on a new character with Maltheal (Expert difficulty) and I nearly died. I had 400k DPS and was lvl 70 w/ 70Paragon.
