It's not primal if you're using modern tech. They didn't have guns when hunting was a necessity. Well I don't think they did.

Haha I wouldn't stand a chance but if I were to kill something to brag about, I'd go the whole hog. "I kill a bear with a knife" sounds a hell of a lot more impressive than "I shot a bear using a long range rifle from 60ft away whilst hiding in a jeep that could easily outrun the bear should it decide to attack".

I thought hunting was supposed to be a primal urge. Why not stay primal and leave out the modern tech.

Theres a guy somewhere who went on Safari at that location and he sat there with the lions.

I'm not saying they are all like that, well im not saying anything...

If people wanna shoot them for nothing but a photo opportunity then... shame on them.

I don't really see how protesting against 1 woman that kills animals for sport is going to help combat the thousands that do it and don't broadcast the fact on Facebook.

I'm vegetarian I eat fish and eggs though, but I went off meat last year just decided it's expensive and I don't NEED to eat it.

Then you're not a vegetarian. You do get that a fish isn't a vegetable don't you?

because this will drive away the paying hunters driving the reserves out of business so the poachers can come in and wipe out all the lions then bingo no more lions are being killed by people

....because they're all dead.

i find it quite amusing how the people "on the animals side" want the animal to die a horrific drawn out and protracted death at the hands of a crude implement, rather than quick and clean.

Lol I never said I was on the animals side I just said I like lions.

Spear and knife you're quite correct. a bow on the other hand can be just as accurate and fatal as a gun. As a gun with a badly placed shot would cause just as much suffering. My comments were more aimed at a skill level and going back to the old ages of hunting.

Really? She does what human kind did for 1000s of years. You may not like it (I don't either) but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy her life the way she wants. She is doing it legally at the end of the day. Get over it.

Yep not strict veggie, but enough as it's easier to call myself one as I do generally eat a LOT of veg, and say veggie + some fish (Though fish is occasional as I do it on a budget probably more of a treat than anything).

Think about it for a second why a vegan diet is super healthy based on something we should all eat more of that vegans mostly survive on (force themselves to eat).
