Just a little trolling around as Ogre.

Nothing special, the funny part is when the enemy teams Disruptor back tracks me away from danger and then proceeds to follow me and received a multi cast to the face :O.
I hate it when that happens :( I can understand thought because I have done it myself sometimes when you dont time the back track properly.

Dota gods punished me hard for daring to get a 5 win streak of 4 close wins and 1 stomp. 4 completely pathetic roflstomp defeat games in a row, this game is so **** at balancing.

Haven't played this game in ages and wanted to test out the mid only thing they introduced. it wasn't my account and the only games played on the account were a few easy bots matches and a couple of practice against friends in 2v2.
So how in the 2nd game did i get matched against a guy who had several pages full of mid only matches using shadow fiend... every match on the last page of his game history was a win.

matchmaking is still broken.

You might wanna try asking that in Reddit's UKDota as well, as a few people, from what I remember, are usually asking if people will join them at i52, or if there's anybody interested in being a part of a temporary team... Could be right up your alley? :)
 
It's getting to a point where I prefer watching streams of the game.

I seem to get matched with people who have no idea what game they are playing.

I don't mind people doing random, as long as they do it early, yet I seem to get matched with people that wait until they are last pick and then random something completely useless.

Again I am 3.5k so not anything amazing, but surely this is common sense to people.

I play with a friend and my party MMR has dropped from 3.5 to 3.2 over recent weeks because we continually get put with idiots, it's really starting to make me dislike the game. Obviously the lower your MMR gets the more stupid the people you get put with gets, it's a horrible cycle, I don't see how you're supposed to climb.

I don't play mid, I don't play any heroes that can single handedly carry the game, I am mostly a support player and for supports I think the MMR system is broken.
 
Wooo loving vengeful spirit, hadn't played her before, decided to pick it in a least played game. 4th game so far:

I was buying wards through the first 20-25 minutes, that dropped off at the end though. Huskar and sniper were pretty useless throughout most of it, and sniper kept wandering off on his own, so i decided to go for damage as the game went on.

edit: I did have dust in that gap too

I wouldn't get manta in the future, a positioning item like blink or force staff is so important on venge. Especially against someone like a faceless void so you can quickly swap into the chronosphere.

The thinking behind the manta was because of 3 of us pushing and the other two ****ing about, just wanted more presence and tower push really. Plus the wr kept shackling the illusions ^_^ wasn't too worried about the faceless as we'd screwed him up so much in lane early game. He was 0-4-0 until about 12 minutes.
 
Another good win as Shaker then get put in a team who would not work together which is so frustrating as a Shaker player who relies on people using my setup.

We should have won but it just drifted away, most irritating was Axe who would run a mile ahead, engage solo, unsurprisingly die then kept blaming me saying I should have blinked in and killed them all. Disregarding the fact he was so far ahead I could never reach him he was walking into impossible situations and expecting miracles from the rest of the team to save him :p suffice to say we didn't see eye to eye :p

Also irritating was our enchantress who, with us winning 9-1 early with 2 towers down on them, dies once, then screams GG ******* NOOBS in chat and won't leave the jungle for the rest of the game.

To drag it out for 40mins me, Pudge and Kunaka did rather well :p

Hate bad teams! Though I must say I have switched to US east and find the game standard and comms remarkably improved in general.

Sure, Lich, Lion, witch doctor are good supports to try out. For carries something like wraith king, sven are both easy for new players and mids viper and sniper are good to start.

Try a few bot games first to get the grasp of things.
