Upcoming games to support Mantle

Looks great :D

However a few things did catch my eye:

1: "Elite: Dangerous" somebody is brining out an Elite clone, shortly before/after Star Citizen? Ha hahaha hahahhahahahahahaha. I doubt 9/10 gamers today have ever heard of Elite, the name won't ship titles any more, neither will playing second fiddle to Star Citizen.

2: GTA 5, I want to be excited, however as no 3D GTA game has ever had a decent PC port I can't help feeling this will be a shoddy addition to a shoddy port (on the other hand if it is a well implemented addition to a shoddy port it has the potential to MAKE Mantle).

3: Sims 4, so.... a game that's proberbly going to run great on any GPU made in the last few years will also run well on recent AMD GPUs which it would have anyway, yeah...

Well I'd have to think long and hard about paying for another game that uses the Frostbite engine. Excluding them the only game that might be interesting for me is the new Civ game.
guess I'll be waiting for the next bunch of games before Mantle offers me anything exciting...
It's all very well being out and in games before DX12 is out, but if they're all like this then, imo, they've wasted their lead.

I'm also curious as to how Intel could get Mantle running on their iGPU when AMD can't get it running on a 6970. Are Intel iGPU really that technically superior to the 6000 series dedicated cards that it can support Mantle?

Elite is actually looking a lot more promising to me than the over-hyped, over-budgeted and over-extended Star Citizen. Given the scope of that game who knows when it'll ever get finished anyway :)

Massive news folks, exciting times ahead for AMD users.

I see that list and i think, feed me a diet of Mantle.

Mantle support in The Sims 4 is MASSIVE! My other half will be delighted, even though she doesn't really understand what Mantle is. I will have to school her in the fine arts of the newest API. :D

Wootang.... 26 Games in total, i'm going to need a bigger 'Games Drive'

Like it matters? Is this new thread hurting you? Is it wasting space on your server? You don't need to enter this thread, we didn't force you.

Just continue your way onto some nvidia news?

Right...lol

I think the third section is plucked out of the air with no anchor to reality. COD? You know as in Ubisoft, Matt's public enemy number one for being in bed with Nividia. As for elite. I've seen no mention of this on their forums (I'm a premium beta user), I can't see them wasting their limited resources on a mantle port. Oh and R* are quite cozy still with team green.

Now I can understand why they would all be in both camps beta schemes. But that certainly does not mean GE and Mantle.

47 Developers currently working with Mantle, they have to come from somewhere.

As for Ubisoft, they were 'in bed with AMD' before AC4, no reason why a developer can't use anyone's tech if they want to. Thief is built on the Unreal engin, another Nvidia bed buddy and probably the most well implemented Mantle game yet.

It sure is a good time for PC gamers. AMD have frame boosting Mantle and nVidia have frame smoothing G-Sync. Happy days :)

Even with the issue BF4 had I still find myself playing it a lot and feel I had my money worth. I not sure about hardline because I dont need another Battlefield game at this moment. But I would easy buy the next one.

The main issue I have with BF4 is balancing of the vehicles and guns, but you always get this when a game as so much to offer.
Its one reason Counter Strike dont have a massive selection.

I do look forward to testing Freesync/Gsync out to see what it offers to me. I sure will wait out for 144hz 1440p Freesync enabled, hopefully hear something before end this year.

He doesn't like positive AMD news to be so visible ^^^ wants it moved into a dark corner.

Mantle also has a 'Frame Smoothing' effect on games, soon we will get the best of both worlds, Mantle and Free-Sync. yes, its all good :)

I'm that certain that neither COD or GTA5 will be mantle supporting GE titles that I'll stick £20 on the matter. That op is wishful thinking.

Am also hoping for more these games to support TrueAudio. I really like it in Thief but at the same time I know it can be done better.

From the demos I have watched, Thief dont really use it to its fullest potential.
