We don't know if we'll be buying a top quality striker to replace him but two proven Premiership players for £12.5 million in total isn't bad business and bolsters the squad for more games this season.

We now have Sturridge, Sterling, Lambert, Markovic and Remy with the likes of Ibe coming through the ranks as opposed to just having Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez last season. Lambert and Remy also give us a good plan B if passing and counter attacking football fails.
 
That was my point. I assume that Liverpool are not going to sign a top class striker to replace Suarez and will rely on having a bigger squad to cover for him.
 
Your just being purposefully obtuse now. He won't have signed unless Rogers assured him that he will get regular starts at the very least. Therefore he is more Suarez's replacement than Borinis.
 
How reliable is Caught Offside?

Last month Arsenal were in for Ballotelli for £25mil I think, today we according to CO are in for him for £15mil.

Would be nice to have him in our attacking options but the price seems to different to believe.
 
Not worth it i think, you see the pic of him posing with a gun? He's a nutter, just leave him be and let other clubs take the flak. I couldn't be chewed if i were Wenger..
 
He certainly is a character isn't he.

Without Suarez and Luiz we have lost a couple of decent characters in the PL. Getting Ballo back would be a huge risk for Arsenal/Wenger but he is a decent striker when he turns up.

The exact same thing happened with Downing last summer. He's probably being offered less cash from Sunderland than what he's currently getting so he'll say he wants to stay and we'll tell him ok you can but you won't play, then it's just a case of who blinks first, us Sunderland or Borini. He'll go eventually.

Yeh he's alright when he turns up, don't think he offers much more than Giroud at the moment tbh. If we could get him for a cheapish price, i could see Wenger taking a gamble. Just depends on money i suppose..

BPL will be better without their stupid behaviour. Bringing back Balo cancels it out though. :o
