Overclocking 780TI

happy that it's sorted, always my first port of call if it all goes **** up.

Were it me, i'd get the skynet bios on there first if you haven't and give that a go.

Man I want to try skynet bios, Could you add me on something and walk me through it? Mobo flash Np, But a GPU ugh.

I think this is mine...

EVGA 780Ti SC ACX [*]
[*] skyn3t-780TiSCACX.zip 135k .zip file
[*] 80.80.34.00.80

780TI, Superclocked, Evga.

So, Do I use NVFlash? Not sure what commands I need :S

So bearing in mind I've now flashed it with skynet, I can only increase the voltage by 1.212, Thats a 0.012 which is pretty much nothing. However, If I increase the power target will this allow the card to run more stable at higher mhz?

Your EVGA card did 1.2v anyhow but many were lower, 1150-1175mv.

Read the thread on OC.NET, all the question have been asked and answered many times.

So far on my card

GPU settings

GPU Clock +179
Memory clock +104

1250mhz/1802Mhz

Benchmarks on Heaven.

OC - FPS 53.7, Score 1353, Min FPS: 30.7 max FPS 98.1

Normal clock - FPS 47.7, Score 1202, Min FPS 29.6 Max fps 86.4

Am still pushing up the memory and even with a ASIC score of 64.4% I believe this is a very solid card to overclock.

With help from the skynet bios update, Its a must have :D

Strange as sioncer you have same card as myself and Skyn3t disables Boost card will run at Base clock of about 1006mhz, so 1250mhz would need +1244 not +179.

Remember the Card runs in Steps/straps, there is no 1250mhz :

Power target allows the card to use more power by increasing the TDP limit where applicable however at 1.212v you'll probably never see more than 120% tops

How does that even make sense lol,If you set it to +1244 ontop of the standard 1074mhz it would clock to around... 2300mhz.. Madness! Evga is set to +189 mhz which is given me a clock of 1261, But EVGA I expect rounds it to 1260. It runs fine and I havn't had any issues. Gpu-z also reports it at 1261.

Still messing with the memory at the moment.

That would be my typos can you not work yourself I meant +244 not +1244mhz?

Where are you setting the standard speed 1074mhz from?

What does your card run stock with that Skyn3t Bios?

Base is 1006 on my card with SkyNet and to get 1250 you would need add +254, adding +179 would be 1185mhz

There is no 1250mhz, its either running 1241mhz or 1254mhz, any other readings are false as it can only run in increments of 13mhz.
