Finally going to get on for some tonight! Some of the videos look incredible!

Can anyone tell me, how much content is there in the beta? Is it only a few hours of playability or have they opened up most of the world?

In terms of the world it is a very, very small part of the game, you'll get a few hours out of the missions and you can re-play the strike mission for loot/fun. There are 2 PvP maps open in Beta and ofc you can play that as much as you like.. during the Iron Banner events a couple of other maps in PvP are opened up.
 
I take it we will only be getting access to Earth, the Moon, venus and Mars in the full game?
Meaning all other planets in the solar system will be locked out, either DLC or Destinty 2.

I hope Im wrong and we get access to all the planets, doubtfull though :(

They said that it was something that hadn't been announced either way, I can't see it happening though as it's not something that usally happens with Beta's especially the MMO type. I hope it doesn't carry over to be honest as I want to start fresh and enjoy the game from beginning to end.

You will have some rewards carried over ie for playing on Saturday night etc.
 
Read a few articles now based on things people have seen in the limited edition (the star map) that Bungie do intend to expand as far as Jupiter and Saturn. The first expansion will be set on the Moon, we know that much. Who knows for the rest following that though.
 
ok only playing the single player intro atm - but I keep feeling is this it ? doesn't feel very next gen graphics wise

I'm a console and PC player and this feels a bit 2013 to me ?

whats with the res of the grass ? jaggies all over the place as well ?

I remember playing Crysis 3 a while back, bit when you get to New York with vegetation everywhere, and the lighting, the textures etc - I had a genuine oh wow moment

not had anything like that so far
 
Anyone else getting loads of connection issues at the moment? Constantly getting kicked badk to orbit, and a few mins ago had to close/open the game again as it was crashing when trying to get fo the tower

Yeah, after being kicked for the 3rd time it then gives me a warning why leaving crucibles is a bad thing...

It's on the equivalent of a 7850 at best, it's not going to look incredible if you're used to a high end PC. Saying that, it has a great art style and lighting. The gameplay is excellent also, played about 6 hours today, maxed my character and then some.

Wasn't a certain but I'll definitely be picking a copy up now.
