Just plotted both of the routes me and a friend are doing when we do the Tour du Mont Blanc in two days at the end of August.

All I can say is ouch - going to be two long days in the saddle and around 10000m of climbing.
This is the last and the third part of our triple charity cyling challange which also included London to Paris in 24hr and JOGLE in 7 days. Looking forward to finishing and having no more cycling challenges ahead of me or training for them for a while! Might do Off-tober!

That's good of them.
I once ordered a $10 laptop component from the USA over the internet, and was gifted with £16 of customs charges. Apparently "that's double the value of what the item is worth" is not a logical argument. I'm now wary of international shipping
