Thieves at work!!!

I once had someone replace my ice cold coke with a warm one in the company fridge... 1st world problems :(

That said, my GF once threw out someones yoghurt from their lunch fridge - thinking it was hers that she had left in there 3 weeks previous :D

Now put a note on the fridge saying:

"To whomever ate the "cultures" I was keeping in the Muller corner port, you should probably seek urgent medical assistance. That pot contained a high contagious strain of the ebola virus that I had planned to use in an elaborate prank.

However, if you ate it joke's on you."

Now this would be perfect if I wasnt in a government job. would probably have MI5 on my ass in minutes :D

Send an email round saying the food was made with own prescription drugs crushed and blended in due to your medical condition, as you have trouble swallow tablets.

Never with actual food, but with tea bags, coffee, sugar, cereal and milk ALLLL THE TIME!!!

In my last work, if you wanted to get rid of some dodgy tea bags or breakfast cereal then you would just leave it on the side in the kitchen and it would vanish! And if your Milk was open in the fridge it was far game regardless of what you wrote on the bottle (one guy just to put that he had spat in his milk or he had deposited his own special secretions into the milk to try and get people to not use it...never worked)

At my new place they are providing Free milk on a Monday and the vending machines give free tea and coffee (its horrible but still), so I haven't heard of any food going missing...but if you leave something in the cupboards it will vanish with out a trace!

1 Buy yoghurt
2 Buy small tupperwear pot
3 Openyoghurtopenpotputyoghurtinpotclosepot
4 Nobody will eat a random looking substance in a nondescript pot

In an old place of work they actually put a sign on the fridge saying that taking of other people's food was a criminal offence as it was tantamount to theft, and that disciplinary action would take place! Didn't stop it happening though - mistakes do happen.

Yeah...if the food stuffs is not in its regular container people tend to leave it alone...

Don't bother with the fridge.

I just keep my lunch in my bag, its only a few hours since it was in the fridge in the morning, so is perfectly safe to eat.

well... a mistake implies that they had their own muller corner in the fridge, meaning there would be a muller pot waiting for me whether it was mine or not.

Yeah but yoghurts are one of those foods that are best straight from the fridge, plus they go a bit runny if they warm up.

I label anything that goes in the company fridge.

In my last place it was very bad, some people had their labelled lunch stolen regularly. I'd love to fit one of those devices that explode on opening just to catch someone out, cover them in very difficult to remove purple paint or something like that.

That'd learn em.

You could always buy a small cooler bag and some small re-freezable cold packs and just keep your lunch with you.

Oooh! Another pro tip

Dont put your food items loose in the fridge, put them in in a carrier bag all together

That also seems to stop people from filching food.

You never know the person might have genuinely thought it was there corner, so having all your food together in a carrier bag will prevent cases of mistaken cultures

Edit: beaten to it :/
