it's amazingly effective , isis are coming and suddenly whole villages just up and leave, even the iraq army just vanished from their path leaving behind loads of military vehicles like humvees
To be fair the Iraq army upped and left in the first instance, because they were attacking Sunni areas. And the troops were told that if they left their post, nothing would be done to them. That did not quite work out for them...
Look up what Ghengis Khan did, People from Baghdad should be well aquainted with those tactics and i think this is why. There is no valid reason to butcher a child because of religion, I mean the Islamic control of Iraq is pretty much secure and there are barely any Christians left because Islam has been converting and butchering them since the 7th century.
So as said above it comes down to being a pure and utter animal with some kind of mental disease, Or desire to see innocents suffer. Plus the woman having her blood drained into a bowl while naked is hardly Islamic punishment. Infact it looks like it is Satanic or sexual perversion/murder. These are the same animals that probably got let into places like Sweden and went around pestering women with the basic Swedish of "sex please,Please please sex" before dragging them off into bushes to be raped.

Hopefully there are some political reforms along with military power, if not we will have similar situations arise again and again. Unfortunately the Shia led government has done everything in its power to marginalise and persecute the Sunni population allowing IS to flourish with tacit support.
That said I'm cautious about all the media reports given it wouldn't be the first time we've had the wool pulled over our eyes. I can remember reading about some "doctor" telling US congress and broadcasting all over the world about Saddams forces killing babies by removing them from incubators. Then to find out the "doctor" was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US. Obviously it was forgotten about once support was gathered for the war using fabrications.
That said if the reports are true and IS has driven 250000 people up a mountain then good riddance really. (Although all i've seen on the news is the same old woman struggling up a hill over and over again)

Rather than supporting religious ideals, these people must be on some seriously mind-bending drugs. Even if the people aren't ISIS in the videos, they're still ****ed up, whoever they are

Well, that Cessna has a start of the art Wescam high-resolution FLIR that can ID people with weapons well out of earshot of it's own engine noise, and can carry a pair of Hellfire missiles.
That, and it's low running costs (thus high persistence) mean for a group like ISIS, the Iraqi Air Force's armed Cessna Caravans are a nightmare.

So we know there is a lot of propaganda being flung out there, just not sure how much and by who. Its known the Syrians have been pushing propaganda (of course) wouldn't be surprised if the Shia and Kurds were at it to considering they have been losing a lot of ground to ISIS. US interests peaked once the oil fields in Kurdistan being threatened.
Unfortunately its the innocents that always seem to suffer.

As far as the conspiracy theory goes, there are posters still on this forum who will remember exactly what I said. Well they've not exactly got much of an Air Force, then again IS don't have one at all...
I didn't realise they were using light aircraft for attacking ground forces though... I was there back in 2004 and I think we did have an artillery spotter type person who'd occasionally go flying with them in some dubious looking light aircraft - though that was more surveillance than attacking anything.

One thing we should all realise about the innocents in the middle east and other war ravaged areas is how lucky we are sitting here in the comfort of our homes, none of us can choose where we are born.
Believer or non believer we should be thankful for what we have. I hope that area fixes up be it jew Christian or Muslim controlled who cares as long as they are happy and have a bright future.
