***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Bought Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, Spaceship (great detail on the box), Emmet's Construct-O Mech and the Lego ECTO 1 on Tuesday (finished getting them built last night, approx 8 hours worth) and now have sore thumbs.

But by jove the results are impressive. Now my kids are playing with them, and I need to find a place to store my new stuff.

Next up is the Tumbler.

Oh and I also need to get my old Lego from my mum to build some of the classic space stuff and find some distant relatives of Benny. I'll get some pictures tonight.

Also is there anyway to pre-order lego on the official site? I want to pre-order that Tumbler.

The Exo suit was a fun build, but I'm planning on doing the following mod to fix the shoulder bits falling off so easily.

As for pre-ordering there isn't a way to, though the Tumbler is supposed to be available from the 18th of this month for VIP's so you should be able to get it without any issues. The fact it's an expensive set means it shouldn't sell out too quickly anyway.
 
Just ordered the Lego Ghostbusters car from Tesco and used a £5 off voucher I had and then doubled up on a £5 points voucher, so total price came to £29.98 instead of £44.98.
 
I battled my way through Bricklink and ordered parts from Sweeden to make some stands.

Ordered far more than I needed, but the tall monorail stands are quite hard to come by so I snapped up a load. But my X Wing looks far cooler now!

 
Pretty simple but does the job. I hate that the X Wing can't be displayed with the wings open normally.

I've got parts for loads more, and the GF keeps saying "you could use them to display the Spaceship", lol.
 
So I came to find my new Lego had been played with, with a little help from my Micro manager friends everything was back to normal. Think I need to find me some Kragle.

Just watched the Movie again (my 5th time) with the wife (her 1st)

Even she said it was AWESOME!!

She's currently humming the song!! :D
 
Just ordered Benny's Spaceship, Emmet's constuct-o-mech and Lord business' evil lair...the wife is fine with it though, as they all come with unikittys :p
