I do agree with your conclusions as I've seen games where I change classes but the game is still open and I tend to get drops form the class I was originally for the most part.

I have also noticed when there is more of 1 class you get more items from that, e.g. I had a part of 3 WD once and I got so many different WD legendaries. I think this is more evident with weapons/off hands as most classes can have similar weapons and shields, like when I party with you and fight on my WD a always get shields with block rate and other crusader stats and a lot of 2 handed weapons, when I don't party with crusaders I get much more 1 handed weapons.


This could also have implications on who hosts a party if it the loot table is created once the game is created. e.g. if a WD hosts it then there should be much higher chance of WD items in the loot table.
 
The weapon i am using on my DH ( Hellrack ) , dropped when i 'accidently' clicked on a corpse...lol..best moment in ages.

I only got the expansion recently, so working on my paragon levels, and building up gear. A bit sad that DH's have to be sentry 6-piece mara builds to have a chance in higher lvl torments.

But am enjoying the game now, a lot more than i did when it was released. I still think they need to work out trading somehow.

Got Tasker & Theo today AND MY SECOND Chanon Bolter. Still no Calamity or Kridershot (same drop chance as Chanon).

T&T was from a T4 Rift Guardian, and Chanon Bolter (#2) was from a T2 bounty in Cathedral lvl 2, from a jar that I broke.

Look how much gold you have!!!

The most I ever had was 9mil and I spent it all in 1min. As soon as I get 3/4mil it all gets blasted on gems and other related rubbish. Rinse and repeat. I am always running around with 100k or less like a complete peasant.
 
There are many members with loads more gold than me; most i've had was about 92mil. Then I decided to roll some stats and build more Reaper Wraps and it gets vaporised away in no time.
 
It can certainly disappear quite quickly. Thankfully since the Gold Find changes a couple of patches ago it soon builds up again. Especially at T4 and above if you can do these difficulties quickly enough.
 
I might start playing again when im back from travels. Lost interest after moving home, nobody in the new guild talking to me and general loss of faith. I was just grinding gold for no real reason.

In fact, ive just talked myself out of it.
