In some ways I hope it is, but in others I hope it's delayed a week or so, I can't get any holiday at all atm as one of my team has left and another is already on holiday end of next week, so later is better here :D

Can't say I'm getting that worked up about patch 2.1. For me there isn't a lot of content. Seasons don't interest me as I can't play more than 8-12 hours a week so don't really see the point in a competitive ladder. Also greater rifts don't seem that amazing - the whole intensity of a 15 minute time limit isn't how I want to play the game. It's never been about the efficiency for me - it's about the fun of blowing up huge waves of monsters. If I want to spend ten seconds scratching my bum, or am eating a bag of crisps at the keyboard (not necessarily in that order :p ) I don't want to feel rushed back to the game. 'Efficiency' is what the Japanese car industry prides itself on, but doesn't translate well to gaming in my opinion. When you talk about efficiency and speed in gaming it's because you're trying to get an onerous, repetitive task out of the way that the designers have put in to cover up lack of content cf. WoW dailies.

I'll probably still keep playing, but for my favourite class (DH), they've not done much to change things around. Still cluster arrow spam till you get marauder 6 part, then dropping sentries while avoiding ground effects.

Hopefully 2.1 will be here soon (some people saying this week but Blizzard not confirmed). Been playing PTR a bit and quite a few improvements across the board. Biggest things for me are:

1. 1 Rift key per rift now instead of 5, means running in groups is easier to do and no longer relying on rift it forward.
2. You can salvage all yellow/blue/junk items in one click now, after you get the blacksmith to max level anyway.
3. Greater Rifts are fun, there is some debate how long they will last given the gems may cap out at some point, but it's more content so should keep me playing for longer.
4. Goblin rifts. I was getting around 25-30M on T6 when I got a goblin rift, really nice cash boost. There is also a gold find gem that you can get from the goblin rift boss that means you find loads of cash when just killing stuff too.

1. Oh nice! I have 150 key parts in my bank atm :D
2. At last!, mind you I keep running out of mats making legendaries as some of them want 90 rare bits for crafting which is crap considering utter crappy items that can be crafted :(
3. Yeah I'm looking forward to these, not sure how far I can get in them though as currently I am able to farm T1 with two characters atm.
4. This is my holy heaven as I'm ALWAYS short on cash

I heard next week, dev videos are all saying that its likely but not 100% as is all Blizzard dates.

In regards to 3. They said people only able to farm T1 stand the most to gain from greater rifts as the gems will be significant upgrade. Where as if you have T6 on farm the upgrade will be significantly less (still cool but not quite as large a leap).

Possibly, but if you can upgrade the gems to level 25 (latest PTR build) which is approximately tier 6 dificulty, you get the extra effect which can be very nice :)

I like the idea of the gems I just wish they would make the ramalandi gift thing work on jewellery, no idea how I will fit them onto my gear as is lol. Especially now that the jewels don't upgrade infinitely anymore.

Just a FYI...

If an item in your game drops from one of those collections (i.e. Helm, Bracers, 2H Flail, 1H Crossbow, Ceremonial Dagger etc) then the other items from that collection are in THAT game.

This also applies to Kadala. So *ONLY* Gamble on Kadala *IF* an item that you want has had another drop from it's drop table.

Just to explain that website, IF you get lucky and get a Legendary assigned to your drop (from mobs), it has to then check to see which item type it will be. Then it will roll and see which item from that type will drop. (And then it will roll to see the stats for the item)

For Destroyables/Jars/Chests/Loose Stones/Corpses - these can drop anything in the game as their loot is pre-determined on instance creation. Drop Tables are determined on game creation. Far too many Clan Members IGNORE these, but they are missing out on a lot of items by doing this.

Been testing this for over a week now with Fight, TheFallen, Mike306 and a few others and it is 100% accurate and true.

DON'T WASTE YOUR SHARDS ON ITEMS THAT AREN'T IN YOUR DROP TABLE FOR THAT GAME!!

Drop Table is shared for everyone in the game, but you are more likely to get your class items than other class items, however it was guesstimated that it was 10-15% chance of Non-Smart-Loot drop for legendaries with other classes in the game.

Pretty much everything he said, I've been testing this a lot of Kalada rolls since I want a T&T. If we don't have gloves in drop I never get a leg glove, when we do have gloves in the drop I get 2-4 pre 500 shards, never a T&T but it helps.

You can't say it's 100% true without running the game in debug mode to work out what is happening.

Had 3 pairs drop so far, not anything amazing though? (although they are rare drop %).

I won't use them but it's always nice to get the rarest item for a slot.
