At least this will put to bed any thoughts that our fringe/young players are any good.

This is yet another reason why I don't get that over 3 transfer windows Utd haven't picked up guys like Mulumbu/Larsson previously. Solid now to help bolster first team, high quality back up in the near future as higher quality players are bought in, great players to bring in for these kinds of games.

Utd could get 4 really useful additions for 20mil total and less wages than Mata.


I am starting to get the feeling that LVG is almost pulling what Mancini did after the title win, when he randomly dropped some first team players and put in the worst back up players possible to seemingly persuade the owners that more money needed to be spent.

If that is LVG's plan, it's both working and necessary ;)
 
Capital One cup or not, it's the only piece of silverware United are likely to win if they can get by MK Dons of all teams..

Absolute shambles, I'd be downright embarrassed if I was a United fan right now.
