Ec2 Evo is also a beast for CS / FPS games and can't be over looked.
144Hz / 120Hz vs 60Hz is only something you notice once you have got a high FPS monitor. There is no "need" for it but if you can afford it, it's well worth it. Biggest difference is actually noticeable for me when playing BF4 in vehicles panning around in my heli checking for enemies, I cannot accurately or effectively describe the difference except to say it is far far smoother .
3 best buys for me was SSD, 144Hz screen and when I got my GTX580 going from 460 1gb
