Well I have sent one controller back last week. Sending the other one back tomorrow. Should get a new one back (for the one sent last week) soon, so I shouldn't be without a controller for long, so long as I have one to use it's not such a big deal.

If it happens again, I shall be speaking to a manager.

Amazon also refunded me £50 or whatever it was for one as well to buy the second one as I bought the console from them. So I cannot complain too much as the second controller cost me like £35 (using vouchers from Very) so I was paid to buy it.

Really? EA really do at times make me wonder.... I've downloaded the demo, give it a whirl but it can't really be 720p?
 
So I finally succumbed to Watch Dogs as it was on offer on PSN, I actually found the start much more enjoyable than I did on PC, lying on sofa with 5.1, some games just play better on console imho. Anyways got to the stadium part with the blackout, and then a message pops up installing from HDD, this is digital.. So exited the game and checked the info something like 19GB is being downloaded :P

Looks like that's as far as I will get today and possibly tomorrow as well lol. Damn these games are getting huge, my puny Devon internet connection can't keep up..
 
So who's getting Metro Redux tomorrow? :D mine has just been dispatched this morning from SimplyGames, i'm just hoping it arrives tomorrow.

The Orb covers are excellent and no way they'd come off during a gaming session. Excellent grip and shape (comes with two different kinds in the pack - one concave smooth and one convex studded), particularly for large hands as I find the normal DS4 sticks too fiddly. Also, no taking apart of controller required (regardless of how easy it might be).
 
Took my Orb covers off, much prefer the feel of the normal sticks and if they break I'll replace with different ones. One also started squeeking.
 
Don't need WD40, it's usually just a bit of dirt, it's also very easy to take off and clean. Cleaned mine 6 months ago and not heard a peep since.

I find the the rubber of the normal sticks feels a bit aged. I don't like the idea that I can leave thumbnail imprints in it, and the dust kind of sticks to them. The Orb concave smooth covers feel very nice, and give the stick a little more height. The convex studded covers though.. don't know how anyone's thumbs could withstand them! :p
 
I can't find the video but basically you just pinged it off and cleaned this contact point and that was it, no tools or LUBE required.

This, pop the trigger off give it a wipe (square section at the top I believe) and hey presto. Worked a treat for mine.
 
After playing last night I can't say I am a fan of the thumbsticks, the texture of them is alright but I find them too slippery. Definitely something I will be changing, just a question of whether to try XB1 style rubber ones or XB1 style aluminium ones.

I don't know who he is either, though heard some terrible things about his gameplay. Mostly that he just runs around being cannon fodder for the other team while shouting profanities over the mic.
