Which make of car has the rudest drivers?

I can also lend him an axe if he needs something to grind.

:D. Its my motorway commute its turned me into such an angry driver as u tend to notice every minor action when just cruising along in a straight line for miles. And the 320d driver is the main culprit for driving like an idiot. ;)

I've noticed knobs in every make and model however there seems to be a strong correlation to MK4 Golf drivers being utter penises, every one I have seen in the last week has been driven badly.

Awaits a Golf owner to jump in and start defending themselves

On the contrary. Some of the best driving I've witnessed has derived from some expensive cars, the likes of which have owners that cherish motoring and their vehicle in general.

I don't dispute that stressful jobs can lead to stressful driving though.

Depends mainly on the time of day, day time executive, sales mangers high end rep mobiles is my main focus.

Honda jazz's tend to house bad drivers (as in incompetent and hesitant rather than aggressive).

I don't think rude/aggressive drivers are related to any particular make/model, but if I had to pick one, around here it would be mk4 golfs (especially those with such TDI power the torques will destroy us all!)

Prius drivers. Normally glued to 65 mph and watching their mpg reading, full of bitterness and regret.

Funnily enough I note the opposite.

It seems to me that I get rapidly overtaken by Prius' and I think to myself...if economy is so important why drive at 80+mph?

Though that's probably just me seeing the irony of a supposedly economical car driven in an uneconomical manner :)

Was typed on a tablet so I didn't pay much attention to the grammar to be honest! (that and I thought the crowd here in Motors might be a little less critical that GD!)

The effort you typically have to go through to put apostrophes in words on a tablet is quite substantial! That post must have taken you quite a while :p

I've noticed this too!

That isn't remotely limited to any make or model of car.

I didnt say it was. Havana insinuated that drivers of big cars tended to spend all their time in the outside lane going much faster than everyone else. The whole point of my response was that in my experience, such drivers are just as slow and annoying as anyone who hogs the lane...as if they think they have a right to be there.

Which, as we've agreed on, you should only be there when overtaking others.

I think they're frustrated BMW/Audi drivers forced into having a Prius by their company, and determined to make the wretched machines suffer for it

For me, from a motorbiking point of view, it's BMW drivers and I think that's possibly because a lot of them are company car's and company car drivers. The next worse for me, which is only really an issue round town whereas BMW's are everywhere, are taxi drivers. My god if they were out of town all the time they would be 1000x higher up my dislike list that BMW's.

Fake, urban 4x4s. Meet them on a narrow country road and you know it's going to be you that has to take the bumpy route, they'll park in the middle of the road and just stare at you. (I know, not a make, but still)
Behind that it'd have to be vans. Probably too close behind come to mention it.

On make:
I have noticed going from a Vauxhall to an Audi that when I catch people on country roads they now pull over out of my way more, presumably because they assume I'm a ****. Could get used to that ;)
Is it Toyota that has the 'car in front' slogan? Cause it's always true... whenever you get stuck behind a slow-mover it's a Toyota! (Or a Honda Jazz)

Must admit I like driving fast, but have never really understood why some people get so much rage when they can't go fast. Whatever one of those people is driving is a prime candidate!
