Thanks again dude. Super helpful. I might just buy some wire that's not pre done so I know the exact mm that way ill learn more in the process as well...... hopefully :)

Just spoke to the guys in my local vaping emporium, 0.30 guage wire & 5 to 6 wraps for the micro coil wound on a 1.5mm dia peg/post.

Hope this helps you out?

Cheers

How many people's locals have banned indoor e-cig smoking? I've been to 4 different pub in the past couple of weeks and 2 of them told me I couldn't smoke them indoors!

Most pubs I go to are okay with it so long as you ask permission first, their premises their rules. I don't vape if there are kids around or other customers are eating.

I don't vape if there's any chance of the vapour going near anyone but if it's a quiet pub then I don't see why they shouldn't let you. Nevermind - I've been used to smoking outside for years already!

That's going to get you a very low ohm coil - probably little more than 1 ohm, which some batteries and mods will struggle with (if even fire).

When rebuilding Protank heads I use 9 wraps of .3 kanthal on a 1.8mm driver compressed to a microcoil for about 1.6 ohms. This gives you good coverage of the wick and works brilliantly on anything you put it on.

Thanks for the info, just picked up a retro fitted Kanger coil from my local shop to try out, sitting on my dna30 at 1.7 ohms with Chinese cotton seems really good.

Also picked up a dripper which I will coil up and wick later :)

Cheers all

My first 24 hours of vaping. It didn't start so great. Hardware is MVP 2.0, and Nautilus mini.

Ordered and picked up from sorting office 2x blueberry at 12mg and 18mg all 50/50 from scopesjuices. Also loved that I got a free 5ml secret sauce :)

First impressions are burnt caramel flavour. I think I have probably vaped at too high a voltage/wattage. Vapour is however always great. I am not sure I will chase the clouds and feel flavour is of more importance to me.

Now when I watch Todd, RIP Trippers and the guy with the weird eyes indoor smokers? they all talk about flavour. How in your guys experience should I be tasting the flavour?. Is it merely an after taste or is their a distinct taste left in your mouths?.

Anyway I am so glad I opted for a decent bit of kit for my entry into the world of vaping. I am not digging the secret sauce. Its fine just not to my taste. Ordered a 30ml of GVC and some peach and apple tart from Scope. Oh and I haven't had a Cigarette since vaping!

I was told to not vape in a Weatherspoons once, because it would set off the carbon based smoke alarms....I got my pint elsewhere.

Well done on no more cigs!

If your coil in the nautilus is around 1.5 ohms try vaping between 10 & 12 watts, the sweet spot for me was 11 watts on the mvp before I got a burnt taste.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Score!

local store is closing down, just agreed to buy all the remaining stock on some decadent vapours custard at £1 per 10ml bottle. should be picking up around 400ml tomorrow night after work.

Would someone care to recommend me a nice and reliable RBA please?

Got two KFL's.
One is an FT clone (no adjustable airflow) which actually gives a better vape than my other KFL, but it tends to flood when filling and takes a while to stop leaking out of the airhole. It can also leak out of the drip tip when filling too, as the seal doesn't work properly, despite the oring.
The other KFL is ok, but the airscrew is stuck at the outer position and it gives a noticeably tighter pull. I'm happy to keep this as a spare and for out and about duty.

May also be looking at a T5 and am having a hard time deciding on an RDA for cloud chasing ****s and giggles :)

Cheers.

Using the Expromizer on my T5 vapes very well & very easy to coil & wick.

Running a single 1.5 ohm coil with Chinese cotton in it, I did post a photo of my setup on the last page.

Picked up a dripper today but not got round to playing with it yet.

Cheers all

Try filling the KF like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycMDC9PkGT8
(6 mins in)but keep your finger over the air hole. If the KF is not air tight it will leak\flood.

I'm getting this when it comes in stock http://www.fasttech.com/products/1/...id-styled-rebuildable-tank-atomizer-2-5-3-0ml

I gotta say the Sophia. It's far and away above the KFL in terms of flavor, vapor and reliability. It never leaks, a new coil lasts forever and its light on battery. It's also dead easy to refill and dead easy to change out the coil wherever you are.

Sure its slightly fiddly to get the coils built correctly (at least until you get the hang of it), has these damned fragile ceramic cups to deal with and works best with res-no-res wires, but IMHO it's the best bit of kit available at the moment and even outstrips my best dripper.

I run it on a GP Paps 1.5 in 18350 using a Cage tank. I don't use anything else at the moment and have not done since early April. It is the reason I gave away my genuine KFL in this thread a little while ago, because it just obsoleted it immediately.

Cheers red. That's going to be my go to guide when I have made my way through the coils I have left. The naturevapes rebuilt coils with the nodded chimney sound good for my aerotank mega
