Dead Rising 3 - leaked on Steam DB

Haven't really followed this game at all so looking for some advice on what the MP will be like, how many players etc.?

I am sure it is up to 4 players co-op through the game, with each player saved individually.

Also
FPS and FOV unlock, this was posted by one of the devs on steam, so should be ok to use online.

PHP:
Go to Steam\steamapps\common\deadrising3

Create user.ini file and add:

gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True

gmpcr_FOV = 90
gmpcr_unlock_FOV = 90
With the co-op in mind, feel free to add me on steam with the user TKM52..

Cheers

FOV is handy for us 21:9 users but the launch is a mess right now lots of people having issues & QTD's in japan & via VPN unlocks :rolleyes:

Hardware similarities with those issues?

Please AMD, this is your shining moment, don't let me down!

According to the retail version I got yesterday neither AMD or Nvidia are sponsoring this game so its probably a wait & see on driver updates as few users are reporting good experiences on Steam forums right now!

Seems to be memory leaks as well you need 6Gb minimum System Ram but Sli is not supported at launch either so its not a great launch by Capcom they must be laughing £££ wise its been the no1 seller on Steam since Tuesday & probably will be for while as its the first megabudget PC game this autumn & zombies=£££.

Reading some of the forum posts on steam, no one has mentioned using crossfire yet. Some are having problems running it with a 780ti, while others are running it at max settings fps unlock at 100fps with the same card..

We do know that SLI isn't working yet, so I doubt crossfire isn't either.

Lately I have been disabling crossfire more than using to get games running properly, can't wait to have a single card that does it all!!

100fps on a 780ti? Bodes well for a single 290 then :D

Going to do some further reading while I await home time...

Edit*
The 3 page "issues" thread, Only one user with an AMD 7770 is reporting a crash. Every other user is nVidia.

Just had a quick blast and it IS locked to 30, no menu options to remove cap, vsync off/on still 30.

Added gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True, and getting about 70FPS max, specs in sig, all options maxed, 1080P.

Didn't, went the buccaneers route, since I already own the game I convinced myself that was OK.

Hoping for the usual day one patch to fix the FPS issue.

What FPS issue?

It was always stated that it was locked to 30fps. The ini file is an option that the devs had but were never going to include, this was stated all along!

Shame about the frame rate being locked, also a shame that pirates get to play before the real purchasers but such is life I guess.

Anyone up for some multiplayer this weekend?

framerate isnt locked and who cares if pirates play it earlier, really? its out tomorrow lol. Just do some real life stuff till then, you'll survive :p

As MarkeR exclaimed, it is locked to 30, unlocked via optional .ini file.

One thing I did notice was that if you access the menu within game take ages before you can select anything.

Will unlock via Jap VPN this evening to see if retail is the same.
