Konami do an "EA" on PC gamers with the next PES - "PES 2015 on PC to have worse visuals than PS4/Xb

Actually not to. There's no reason they couldn't have used the same assets as they have in the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

It will actually take effort to incorporate lower quality assets for the PC build.

Not sure about time, depends on the specifics of the development. Typically game assets will be created at a high level, then crunched down to the highest level used in game and then lower quality versions generated for LOD systems, etc. many effects are "plugged" in and can be disabled merely by commenting out 1 line of code. (Depends a bit how much they are recoding for PC and how much they are using off the shelf engines, etc.).

Its just another company detached from their customer base who will get away with treating their customers like dirt because people will moan but do nothing about it and buy the game anyway.

I should imagine the market for PES on PC is fairly minimal, with a great many of the purchasers using low-spec PCs or laptops. It's probably not worth it for Konami to put the time into doing a decent PC release: just chuck something out there that will work without major bugs on as many PCs as possible.

Plus, Japanese publishers have never really valued PC gaming.

It's still more effort than using the PS4 and Xbox One assets though isn't it?

Which was my point, to address the idea that they were being lazy by doing it.

I very much doubt it, PES is small fish when compared to FIFA. Either company would be better off spending their money trying to get exclusive deals with EA.

I had my conspiracy hat on when typing :p

A crazy decision by Konami though.

Their attitude towards the backlash which was started by their ****** decision is odd though, what did they expect?

Haven't played or wanted to play PES since about 2009 when Fifa changed their game for the better.

The fact they have lack of official kits has always put me off, but I find Fifa has left PES behind these days, more so with the new release on the latest engine.

haven't bothered with PES since they started putting years in the name as thats when it started to get worse

in the past you could forgive the lack of official team and player names cause of the superior game play

but now FIFA has the superior game play and official license
IMO

PC and New Gen versions are the same apart from the following items:

• Elapsed time – Show brightness/shadow change from real time lighting according to the match time of day
• Crowd improvement – Crowd variety to be increased by 10 times
• Player lighting to be improved through differed rendering
• Improved shirt quality – Weave variety added
• Enhance depth of field

PC users : same modes and gameplay as PS4 / Xbox One. Better visuals than PS3 / X360. A hybrid really. Focus was accessibility and quality.

You can shove it up your **** then, just like EA shoved FIFA '14 up their ****.

shoot themselves in the foot everytime these developers - hur dur y u pirate my gaems so what do they go and do ? make them worse ! we are actually the biggest market there is, like said above, if you rat us off we hold the biggest grudge and ultimately, to a degree make or break a developer. Even EA are turning quite a corner recently because were handing them their ass.

Not fussed with the graphics, it looks good as it is, what the need to improve on is less bugs, the freedom of play you used to have like the old ones and more depth to the game.
