Got Quetzalcoatl last night due to some extreme generosity from a clan member and then after a few more rifts I finally got Jade Harvesters Peace. Happy chappy right now :) Finally have the build, just need to do some rolling :)

It's always been about gear, there is things you can do to make you better though as most people play lazy and don't actively try and avoid damage, see a lot of people just standing around in poison, arcane etc etc and not watching when it pops up to move. They do need to change M6 DH though or make other classes viable for high level grifts, being able to pop sentries and just hide behind a wall is ridiculous.

Most people seem to be playing on normal though which doesn't really discourage playing lazy and death is just an annoyance rather than a penalty (repair costs are a non-factor now with the amount of money you can earn with the legendary gems and gobbo vaults).

I play purely on hardcore because it just adds more fun to the game and you have to be aware of the enemy mods and play accordingly because the moment you don't respect that frozen/arcane enchanted pack is the moment you're re-levelling a new character :p
Was doing some bounties on T2 last night and my friend's wizard got destroyed. Pulled into a pack of mobs (Vortex) that froze and killed him before he could get out of the room haha. We also agreed not to play with any of the passives that grant you an extra life if you receive fatal damage that most classes seem to have now just to up the tension a bit.

Enjoy.

My Voodoo Mask could do with 6% crit on it instead of IAS but other than that it's nearly perfect. I think Harvest build is quite unique to other build types in Diablo. It takes some getting used to but then becomes very fun (and very powerful). I'm not perfectly geared by any stretch but I regularly harvest for between 1.1 and 1.4 billion damage on elites. With decent cooldown reduction and things dying around you (to trigger even more CDR) you're looking at a lot of damage very quickly.

Swapped some stuff out and was kindly donated a chest ... Am i heading in the right direction ?

Nice chest that one, will be good until you get Akkhans etc.

Looking at your gear again I would:

See what you can do about getting replacement jewellery with sockets on for the new leg gems, they make a big difference when you level them up a bit. You want 2 gems, maybe 3 gems if you can manage it. Bane of the Trapped/Bane of the Powerful are both good for all specs. I like Mirinae too but especially for a holy spec.

Shoulders - Your shoulders are a bit rough, you still ideally want str/vita/(life % OR all res) and CDR % (can roll 8% CDR).
Helm - Not a bad choice, the sweep attack damage isn't doing much for you though here, the same again but with Crit % instead of Sweep attack would be ideal, and the 81% roll is low as it can roll up to 100% extra gem effect.
Amulet - Same as before, I wouldn't waste resource rolling this one more though really, try and find a better one so that you can add a socket to it.
Chest - Fine but maybe if you get some spare materials roll the fire % a bit higher to closer to 20%.
Gloves - Gamble for either Akkhans or Magefists in this slot, Magefists are good for fire spec, you will need Akkhans for later on.
Bracers - You still need some better ones, craft some Reapers wraps with Fire %, Str, Vita and Crit %. If you make the same but with Holy % instead keep em for a holy build when you get Akkhans set.
Ring 1 - The Avarice ring is pretty good for now, I wouldn't change anything there.
Ring 2 - The other ring should be replaced with one that has more offensive stats and a socket, or a RROG which you can get from bounty caches, you will want one anyway.
Belt - Reroll smite % to anything else here really, armor, regen, whatever.
Legs - Justice damage is a little bit of a waste of a stat considering how little damage Justice actually does compared to your hammers, have you tried dropping Justice for Shield Glare with the wrath return rune? You shouldn't need a generator ability at all with hammers as your only spender and unstoppable force.
Weapon - You still need a better one really, but I wouldn't waste materials on the one you have, it's an instant salvage for me when I find it.
Boots - fine for now and hammer damage is good for the spec.
Shield - gamble Kadala for a legendary shield of any description really to replace this junk shield.

Your profile says you have 610K HP, is that right? I reckon you have too much health if that's the case, you shouldn't need much more than 300-400K with focus then shifting to other stats that reduce damage taken or healing instead.

As someone wise once said the best form of defence if offence. The quicker you kill the less you need to take hits, this game does favour more damage, to a point anyway.

My monk, still a work in progress but im making some headway

Need better jewelry, a Sunwuko neck with Dex, socket and Crit ideally would be good, allowing me to wear a Spirit stone helm that syncs with my heal.

Also desperately need a flying dragon, also need to socket in gems to my rings, but need better rings ideally.

Right now t6 is doable pretty much with my eyes closed, i can solo GR30 or so, but i just need the extra few bits to push me on, been levelling my Attk Speed Gem, once i am able to slot it into my gear i should see an improvement, hopefully should be able to get to around GR35 or so, notice i do not use Unity setup at the moment, i do actually have a pair of dex Unity rings i am going to try out at some point soon. :)

My wizzie. Not sure where to go to improve...need a better Cindercoat and rings/amulet to socket. How are people getting these 80Mil+ crits I see people talking about? Is this in group with optimal setup with other players or something?
I have full firebirds and have seen people saying that crits for ridiculous damage - I am a total noob - I never see mine crit...how are they seeing the damage from the DOT?

In my crap gear my FB dot is ticking for around 39m, atleast thats what i think it is anyways, its tough to know for sure without a combat log to know for sure, its just what ive tried to fathom for myself.
I think these big crits are from people using nice 2handers for the extra direct damage, the furnace is one im after.

I would swap out meteor for blizzard/apoc rune but i have seen some wizards using both of these to keep up the dot from fb's set.

that was weired when i logged in earlier it said on breaken news on the client that there was maintenance planned for thursday so i assumed wednesday night and thought id be safe from the usual downtime on a tuesday night,

Good stuff tonight, found another Rams gift, got a Unity ring (finally - just need another one now!), got a couple of pieces of Maras set, and finally, me, Pimm and Silures got GR37 down on seasonal 3 man.

Hey Yrkoon/Xzenon, that was me and a rl mate :).

Quite enjoying the DH, even if I am a bit paper pea shooter-ish. Completely and utterly surviving on the fact I have +15K life on hit at the moment.

Glad the servers went down, otherwise I'd have been on until 70 lol.
