Yes, I did thank you, mentioned in Diablo thread. I am Witch Doctor only and I don't intend to level any other class for a while. I seem to struggle with shoulder armour and belts and I think you gave me both. Would help if you told me what you're building too so when I'm farming 70 stuff I can send over anything handy

Just got Destiny which is my first dabble into online console gaming. Do I need a PSN+ subscription to be able to do this properly? There doesn't seem to be any way of communicating with other players, though other players seem to be able to wave at me etc. Of course, I'm a complete noob here so I could be missing the obvious.
You need PSN Plus. The game comes with one month free...
Which I can't use as I've already previously subscribed to PSN+ in the past. Oh well another £40 down the drain when I get back from the weekend.

Basically if it's a retail or paid-for game you need PS+ to access multiplayer, but if it's a free to play (eg. Warframe) game then you do not need PS+ for multiplayer. You do get access to a new selection of games each month as part of PS+ so it isn't just paying to access multiplayer.
You can save a few quid buying online rather than direct from the PS Store. cdkeys.com has it £34.90

You can buy three months ps+ and try the game online , but for most part yo h don't need ps+ to play some of the story based missions.. Destiny imo is best played co op in a fire team, just head into the Destiny multi player thread and add names from those you recognise etc... See how you get on, I don't play many online ps4 games, but Destiny has grabbed me , for a change. I usually don't game on a console online too often.

Another alternative is you could make a new psn account and activate the free month on there and set the account to "primary" for your PS4, allowing your main account to use the PS+ to play online. The disadvantage of this are you can't activate any PS+ games to your main account, which I'm sure you're not bothered about.
I'm not sure if the app is the same on tablet, but on my iPhone Playstation app, there is a second screen option, which basically emulates the PS4 controller on my phone. I can navigate around etc, without having to have a PS4 controller turned on.
Tempted by Sleeping Dogs. Completed it on PC a year or so ago and thoroughly enjoyed. It will look great on my 50" LED TV

That's what I want to do, not bothered about the PvP - I could happily miss out on that I think. So you don't need PS+ to join fire teams etc?
I believe it is to prevent you from continually applying free 1 month vouchers over and over.
Like Xbox Live, you used to be able to get a free month of Gold with each new Hotmail account that you signed up with, so we would just keep creating new email accounts.
I don't think so, add me on psn I'm Astondbr9 and if you just want to play the missions in the story then join in my game , I tend to have one mate in the team and others on my friends list just drop in and play the missions with us.. So if I'm on and playing a mission just jump on in and shoot stuff : -)
Have you actually done this? Does it improve the DS4 a lot in your opinion?
I was going to do it a while ago but this post put me off.
