**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

Nope, she said that if she's getting a new phone, it needs to be a step up, and not something that was mostly the same (given that the S2 and Z3c are basically identical in size)

Plus, the Three store didn't have any Compacts in, so that kind of made the decision anyway!
 
Respect to her dude! lol - my missus was complaining at the size of the S4 I 'cascaded', usual 'it don't fit in my handbag' crap lol
 
Is anybody waiting on the copper colour of this on contract? Is there an official release date for this as it seems to be the only colour not released so far for contracts and upgrades?
 
still cant figure out how to get that google search bar back?
I'm not talking about the widget that sits on one home screen, but the one that sits at the top of all home screens :(
 
my black one has been ordered, wife is holding off ordering a new phone till she has a go with mine


she really loves the feel and look of the orange nokia 930...but she has spied the copper colour on the z3 and wants to see how it feels
 
Anyone know how the audio quality fares when you record a video with something really loud? I think that's a feature which is severely under-reported, and as far as I know there's only like 3 lines of phones which are capable of it (HTC One, Nokia 1020 and the old Nokia 808). It lets you actually record things like concerts or street performances and not have it sound like garbage.
 
See the 6 dots at the top? - There was a google bar in that position which stayed stationary as I flipped through screens. It didn't use up any space on any of the home screens hence I find will be useful. Problem is I don't know how to get it back lol!

@Confused - Any chance of a favour please? - Select the google bar and pull it down to the X to get rid - It should prompt you with some instructions on how to re-enable it. thanks

I'm in two minds about this or the compact. The size worries me about this one, because I love the size of my iPhone 4s, but I think it's something I'll get used too? Is it worthing taking the Z3 over the Z3c if I'll be keeping it for 2 years?
 
You get used to the size mate. Plus you'll appreciate the extra power and screen estate coming from an iphone 4. I think the Z3 has the extra screen estate over the Z3C and an extra 1Gb of RAM (3Gb in total) which will defo be a bonus for making it last a couple of years. I plan on keeping mine until at least this time next year (that in itself will be a feat!)

Been 'fiddling' with my Z3 all day today - took it off charge at 10AM, had 1 ten minute phonecall, various messages etc throughout the day and play with this and that. Battery level is at 71% and thats with all sony power saving features disabled - I iz impressed!

My battery life is terrible on the 4S at the moment, so that will be a positive. I'd have to leave Vodafone to make use of 4G on the phone, might be worth my holding out to look at the Nexus 2014 phone.
