The Devils Lair
Epic - enemies are heavily shielded and highly aggressive in great numbers
Lightswitch - you get one shotted by melee attacks
Juggler - no ammo drops for equipped weapon, use those Ice Breakers!
Void Burn - void weapons do extra damage
Nightfall - If all players die you return to orbit and start over
Cheese spots:
During the hacking wave, go to the left, where the tanker is, and take pot shots from there, retreat if your health is low, enemies cannot follow you in there with maybe the exception of Thralls, let the fallen and hive fight each other
Devil Walker: Go the far back left and shoot at his legs with a void sniper for massive damage, adds can't touch you and only the devil walkers cannon can really hit you
Sepiks Prime: The room to the left of the entrance, hide in there and shoot away, be careful if you go downstairs to try to get another angle on sepiks as there are likely fallen majors down there waiting for you
You're seriously questioning why the developers are fixing exploits beyond the intended design of the levels?
The intended design of the levels is what they gave us.
The didn't appear by accident.
They didn't trip over, mash some keys on a key board and accidentally create 4 pillars you could jump on.
Here is a level, here is a goal, beat it.
Oh ****, you've beaten it thats not how I wanted you to beat it, I want you to beat it using these very specific set of constraints, what do you mean you dont want to do it because its frustrating, time consuming, borderline unfair, no fun what so ever and the reward for doing it isnt worth the time of doing it?
Whats wrong you?
Auto Rifles nerfed.
Scout Rifles buffed.
Time to swap my Suros for the raid Scout Rifle ;D
Also, glad they fixed the Templar exploit, it was ridiculous before, you could basically ignore the entire strategy of the boss fight and even the enrage timer and still kill him easily.

Ashamed to say that I've not even tried it the 'proper' way. Every group I've been in defaults to that method. Not that I ever disagreed with them over it
Always nice to learn new methods and tricks.
Well today's Daily Heroic was laughably simple, even on level 28. You can do it with one shot without killing any other enemy. No wonder I only got Ascendant energy for it, but then this game doesn't like giving my shards anyway. It's a sore point..![]()
our group has done the templar twice - first time round we did it properly. Get the relic holder to build up his super, bring the shield down, unleash all hell, then hide. Rinse and repeat until he goes down. The first time we did it enrage had just kicked in when we got him down.
The second time round we got fed up of doing it properly and just found a pillar to hide on. Can't say it was that much easier to be honest. Its just less prone to random stuff happening that messes you about.

High level characters with Queens stuff makes me laugh at times - spend some marks/strange coins/motes of light etc you cheapskates
ps3ud0![]()
+ Shotguns nerfed.
Fantastic. I can't wait to farm Ascendant Energy all over again because my Atheon's Epilogue and Found Verdict are now completely useless.
Mythoclast nerfed by 34%WHY?! This gun is meant to be the best in the game. Either reduce the drop chance or leave it alone. Sigh.
Its more they arent that pretty and really if youve put some effort into the game to get to level 29, its likely you dont have only the Vanguard to get armour from.ps3ud0 why its same stat stick like everything else int his game :/
Had the same predicament last week and did the same on my helmet and then got an exotic one from Xurs engram - obviously still useful when I swap Exotics about...I'd held off as I'm aiming for the complete raid armor set. But in order to get to the raid on hard where it drops, I'm going to have to be level 29 in order to be effective (i was level 28 before)
At the end of the day its only shards, I can always earn more. Just seemed such a waste to plough 18 shards into a helmet I don't intend to keep, and that I won't get back when I break it down because its a queens item. I'm not paying for the crucible / vanguard / faction armor.
