lv2 to 26 in a day on my titan, almost got 3 nightfall ready characters now :D
I definitely prefer the titan to the hunter in PvE but I still think the warlock beats it. The melee attack on sunsinger is brilliant and the self res is just too useful for raids and nightfall.

Something I wasn't aware of that's useful for people making alts:
On levelling your second character you can change class right from the start, you don't need to be lv15 like you do with your first character. I wouldn't have noticed this if it wasn't for another titan in my strike group who had access to the bubble at lv7

Not a criticism but an observation. Still, it's much more enjoyable to run around blowing people away with The Last Word. :)

I died to Gjallahorn so many times yesterday lol... K/D ratio of 0.16 in one game because of it lmao! Still got most of the crucible based trophies, did my 500 points void damage kills and 10000 points for exotic bounties and got significantly better at crucible games, even managed a few sprees lol :-D
 
Very drunkenly got to level 20 last night and still haven't got a clue.

Said something like i need to upgrade armor and weapons now to level up? :confused:

Rare(or better) armour that is lv16 and higher has a stat called 'light' on it, the higher the light stat, the higher your level will be. You need approx. 12 light to gain one level

Bungies obsession with stopping people flocking to one gun is going to ruin the game. The community will choose the path to least resistance. Thats why we had thousands of us all sat shooting inside a cave to get some decent loot. The community will work out what the next most overpowered gun is, it will be called the "new mythoclast" and everybody will start using that instead.

Chances are, it will be an auto rifle. Scrubs like auto rifles because they are easy to use, you don't need to good with your aim, and its very forgiving. The only way to stop the situation where everybody uses auto rifles in the crucible is to make it so that they are so poor nobody bothers. In the weekly update bungie thinks that if everything is equal, everybody will choose something different and nobody will flock to one gun or type. So they are going to keep nerfing peoples guns until this happens. But what they haven't factored on, is that is the age of youtube, where every minute somebody somewhere is creating a video to try and get hits and get paid some money. And what better way to get hits ? to tell everybody that you've found the gun that can make you good at PVP. Once the loot cave became popular, every man and his dog had a video showing you it. It wasn't just one video, there were thousands, and websites like IGN were desperate to make news stories about it and spread it to even more people.

This is guaranteed to happen with the weapons. Its a pointless quest and they just need to accept that auto rifles will be most peoples choice in the crucible because they are easier to use, especially the suros with its low rate of fire and low recoil, making it easier to use. They need to up the skill ceiling on it by increasing the recoil, but then increasing the fire rate and damage to match. If you are good with your aim, you can still make it work, but those who can't aim won't be able to use it.

Guarantee however they will just make it do less damage and pointless for everybody.

Yeah, I really wish they would stop nerfing things. So what if it's a little 'imbalanced'. It gives people an incentive to earn the top guns, and it's just annoying to learn how to properly use a gun for it to then be made all but redundant.
 
Well, been putting it off for a while. Had a ton of ascendant shards and all of my armour opened up ready to get maxed. Spent about 5 hours split between lastnight and this morning getting my Warlock from 26 to 29. Feel a bit more relaxed now that particulat grind is done.

Just need to arrange myself to lose my raid virginity now :)

I was looking at getting one if Xur stocked it again over the coming weeks, as I missed out the first time, but if that's the case I'll probably save my coins and wait for something like Red Death again. Bungie should leave it be to be honest, it's a good gun but I don't think it's overpowered.

Haha I was playing Control yesterday with it. I thought it locked on to someone only for it to streak over their head, and smash into a group of enemies behind him, racking up a multi-kill. I wasn't complaining haha. Still haven't unlocked the cluster missile
perk yet so that should be good. :)

You will probably get 3 pieces of raid armour on your first VoG run, then feel like you have wasted ~60 shards :p

To be honest you would have been fine attempting the raid at 26, 27 is ideal but not necessary. I haven't heard of any raid groups running today on here, but if you use destiny lfg there no reason you cant find a raid group within 15 minutes.

If anyone fancies a laugh, jump on top of the dropship which comes after killing the first lieutenant on the mars strike. I was curious if you could even jump on it, turns out you can and it even flies off with you still on top, then you smash into the map boundary at 200mph and die.

I am so trying that next time I'm on that strike :D

Anyone on PS4 doing the Weekly Heroic @ lvl26 later tonight? Both my Warlock and Titan could do with going through it.
 
Soooo, dropped myself into the nightfall strike solo as I have a bounty to kill 200 with a fusion rifle for the exotic bounty thinking I might get a few before getting booted back to orbit, couple of hours later I've finished it and still 18 kills short lmao! :-D

Good effort :D

I just repeatedly killed the enemies at the start of the Nexus strike. Once the elites started turning up it became almost impossible to progress on, took so many attempts ><
 
3rd disconnect today, says removed from the game world might be a problem with your internet connection, how do i know if its my internet or the game? ****ing me off happened twice in 2 days on the weekly nightfall, first time it was right at the end so i got no rewards today i manged to reconnect and now ive just tried to do a strike and got disconnected within 5 mins, Not in the mood to play now, is anybody else experiencing this?
 
I don't understand all the crying over auto rifle nerfs. It's all I see anyone use in the crucible so I think it's pretty justified to nerf them.

Its the fact they're messing it up in PvE more than anything. That and they're unwilling to admit they ****ed the balance up in the crucible.

I'm waiting to see them actually do this major weapon balance update they keep talking about.
