Is anyone getting lag on the home button (when used in an app to get back to the home screen)?
And also, lag when you click into the app switcher?
I've factory reset the phone and its a little better but still not great, and I've not tried the ART thing as everyone else is claiming theirs works ok when in normal mode, so I shouldn't need to change? Plus having a duff screen, I'm not happy to keep this unit.
Also, can you load up the main OCUK shop web page, and try the following?
When I pinch to zoom in and out fast multiple times without removing my hands from the screen its very fluid, but when I do let go of the screen in zoomed out mode, the screen takes a second or 2 to 'rebuild' itself thus looking like lag, so some of the screen stays loaded in, but its most noticeable on the sides (mainly left) where OCUK have all the little square boxes advertising things like finance, social networks etc.... they load in again, rather than just being there, like it needs to reload them again?? Hopefully that makes sense?
When I used to zoom in and out on other phones, like the Sony Z Ultra, the webpage had already loaded in, so it didn't need to be refreshed when I stopped zooming in/out/in/out, thus feeling a lot smoother and not jerky?
If yours isn't doing this, then I definitely think I've got a dud! Not sure I want to try another! I've had a bad weekend and since finding these faults on Friday, I've only looked at the phone once all weekend, its annoyed me that much
I was so looking forward to this phone!
