*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Looking at your list I have the following to say

1)I agree but the PSN network outages has not affected me as of yet
2) The PS screen is fairly self explanatory. Although the app updates bit did confuse me the first time.
3)I have no use of any of that via my console so are pointless
4) My Friends list tells me all of that
5) I have a PC, Blu ray player and media centre for that, Never once considered my console for it
6)I will agree with this point
7) Does not bother me, I have 2 pads and sit fairly close to my Monitor/TV so isnt a problem.
8)The PS app does everything I need it to.

Well, I already have a Bluray player, so it seem to me having a PS4, Xbox One and a Bluray player under the TV seems a bit silly (besides a Roku, Sky+, a CD player and a Xbox 360). But I like my harmony remote, I like to centralise things, and minimise having too many boxes (I already have too many boxes) and remotes. So having decided to get rid of the Bluray player, I now have to use one of the consoles to watch films. I found out the harmony work with the Xbox One by accident. It means I can treat the XB1 as a Bluray player, not having to get a separate remote (the controller) to watch a movie.

I would add that, it is not a problem using a controller, but it is just more convenient when watching a Bluray with the XB1 than the PS4.

I know a lot of the things on the PS4 works fine, the app is fine, the avatar is fine, the OS is fine, but the same things on the XB1 works better. It is simple as that. The friends list is better designed, the Avatar is more fun to design, the Smart Glass has more features (have you seen the latest TV thing? To be able stream TV through it). Although I shouldn't dwell on the TV thing too much, the PS4 will never have that, it wasn't designed with that in mind. But if you have both consoles though, the disparity becomes quite clear. It is not a case is which is a better console, it is more that I like my XB1 more at the moment because it feels I am getting more for my money.

Telling that you resort to petty insults when you don't have one argument to support why I'm wrong.

Every point I made is perfectly valid. Only a Sony fangirl would disagree.

To be fair he is totally just in what he says and he doesn't need to backup this with any counter argument.

Not once have you posted in this or any other thread pertaining to Ps4 in a positive light or made any constructive criticism or provided anything of any value.

You was the one that insulted a large community of religious believers when anyone tried to counter whatever drivel you posted so you have no place to even suggest anyone is being insulting.

If your TV supports HDMI Control you can operate the PS4 using the TV remote.

In any case, no idea why the Xbox has become a topic of discussion in this thread, as it's not really the place for it.

It's not necessarily that what you say is wrong. Infact most of the things you point out are factually correct. It's the way in which you use these facts to formulate your opinions and arguments. You completely lack any sense of objectivity.

Everything I've seen you post on the subject of Xbox One vs PS4 displays a horrendous amount of confirmation bias.

For example, in one post one of your points in favour of Xbox One was that you could control your TV and other entertainment devices using the Xbox One if you lost your remotes. On the other hand you seemingly dismissed the superior visual performance of PS4 games as irrelevant. This is textbook confirmation bias.

Well it's not is it. If you want to pretend that, fine, however it's spectacularly obvious that one is an useful feature, the other is something that even developers say is practically impossible to perceive at normal seating distance.

I don't believe anyone is actually saying that you are wrong.

It's just that you are a tool and no one here is actually interested in your opinion whether you are right OR wrong.

Nice one big man. It's a shame you're only able to throw about petty insults.

It simply demonstrates how tactless and rude an individual you are.

Also, I should probably point out (as clearly some have misunderstood), I was berating the rather poor "major" update that Sony are bringing to the table. At that moment I wasn't drawing comparison to the Xbox. Others brought that up!

The problem is you have a fairly clear intent to antagonise certain people in this specific part of the forum. Nonetheless, there's no need for insults.

Yet as soon as the opportunity arose, you did.

Lol. I must remember to stop using my games console to play games.

Changing the channel is where it's at.

Silly me.

Also it is true that you can't see the missing pixels, effects and fps on the Xbox One.

They aren't there....
