At the moment, and I think this will be true for the next 6 months, I prefer the Xbox One (and yes, I have both).
1 - Better solid network
2 - Little things like the Home OS menu is more intuitive. When a game you start needs an update on the PS4 it just says in needs update and you go back to the Home screen. It took me a bit to realise you have to go to notification and update from there. As opposed to "Press A" to update on the XB1 while in the game and then it restarts itself.
3 - More features - Plex, DLNA, voice commands, via Kinect, the TV thing while playing if you want.
4 - I think the Friends list is better implemented, and how it shows you what your friends are up to, their achievements, it is more social
5 - The fact that my Harmony remote works on it. The PS4 doesn't. It means I am more likely to watch a Bluray on the XB1 than the PS4 now
6 - Ability to increase HDD space without opening it up.
7 - The USB cable that comes with the Play and Charge kit, I know you have to buy it separate, but the lead from the XB1 is like 9 feet. The lead came with the PS4 is like 3 feet or something. Little things matter!
8 - Xbox Smart Glass is a much better app than the PS app.
And let's not forgettnig the thumbsticks.
I am sure the PS4 will get there, but they need to get their act in gear because now that I have a choice between getting games on both consoles. I am going to buy it on the platform that is more fun to play and gives me the minimum hassle and problems. For the PS4, if they don't get the PSN up to the standard of XBL then I will solely get single players games on that and everything else on XB1.
I do like the size of the PS4, and don't have that massive power brick. And The Last of Us Remastered is awesome.
