They've never said that the exotic buff would be coming by a specific date, they owe you nothing.

Honestly they rush out a balance thing (autorifles, pocket infinity etc)...people complain. They take their time and...people still complain. Bungie should just do whatever they want because the vocal minority will be whining either way.

No people complain because almost every change they have made bar bug fixes have been to move everything towards being either average or below average and they haven't added anything to the actual gameplay.

They released a game without a huge amount of content and hid that fact behind a grind system that forces you to redo everything hundreds of times to get / upgrade your gear. They have then spent the time since launch mucking around with a few weapons and fixing "exploits" that people have used to make the grind easier.

The only two gameplay additions they have done are "heres cruicible with a tiny modifier for your actual level" and "heres another faction to earn points with by doing the same stuff as you already do".

Its getting boring and its getting frustrating.

If they want to make other weapons more viable in the crucible, make others better. Don't nerf auto rifles into oblivion such that they are no use to anyone which seems to be their mission.
 
Keep getting monkey errors and I've had to restart the daily a couple of times. Just got to the last boss on my latest attempt and.....monkey error.

Turned it off till later.

Meanwhile, when I play as hunter, I can't one hit people. What gives ?

Hunters have the weakest melee. And lowest hp and armour I believe. Either way they're the weakest pvp class imo. I've lost count of the amount of times I've meleed someone first for them just to return the favour for an easy kill. They also lack an oh **** button. Titan gets in trouble - shoulder charge or mega ground stomp. Warlock, mass purple death or a big ball of fire. Free kills! Sure, you can rank up a few kills with as a blade dancer on a 6 vs. 6 server against ppl who don't know what they're doing, but given that you have to pop it in advance and are quite easily killed, it doesn't rank up against other class skills. The only thing it's better than is the golden gun! Still - there's nothing more satisfying in Destiny than killing someone with a thrown knife :)

Didn't they buff scout rifles by quite a bit? They are still going about this all wrong though. They should keep PvE and PvP separate. Just because the PvP crowd QQ about something they don't have destroying them doesn't mean it should ruin the same weapon for PvE.
 
elemental damage actually does naff all outside of the nightfall.

Use Atheons epilogue and despite being a void primary, it still takes tons of bullets to kill because it has low impact.

The only real purpose to the elemental damage is to match up the colour of the damage to the shield on the PVE enemy, as they do bonus damage.

Use a fire weapon on a vex, and you're not doing any extra damage on them than you would with a kinetic weapon.

They buffed damage by 4 or 6%. I don't think that falls anywhere near the category of "quite a bit". The main change was to reduce auto rifle headshot damage bonus to 25% instead of 50%. That was the main thing they did to close the gap.

And now you're complaining that they're fixing exploits...you realise this is hardly a new thing in gaming...

Then why don't you go play something else? if you want more single player content then wait for the expansion. Same as any game.

most people seem to think hunters are the best class for pvp. the leaderboards seem to agree. their supers are very strong

A lot of these are not exploits they are simply easier ways of doing a particular boss or part of it. I don't mind if they patch things like being able to knock Atheon off the side but they are looking at how people are playing and deciding that they don't like it so they stop it.

I have been playing other games more than this lately. Its not single player content that I want, its just different content period. There are very few strikes, missions are super easy, daily weekly and nightfall can only be done once each unless you enjoy doing it with different characters.

You apparently love every aspect of the game, I don't.
 
Seems fine to me. Stops a few players carrying the team in the final encounter. Everyone has to know what they're doing and contribute. Also makes it easier if they do want to add matchmaking later.

Seriously?! The whole purpose of the raid is to get 6 people to work as a team through having a strategy, team work and communication. What next change the relics so you can't choose who picks them up and force it one to one player randomly? or maybe just cut voice comms all together that way no one can plan how to do anything.

Really? Most of my exotics feel pretty different and the weaker ones (Bad Juju etc) have already been promised a buff at some point. The intent is to make weapons balanced How many people were using scout rifles before the buff? They weren't. Hence they needed balancing. It's pointless having 4 primary weapon types when 90% of players seem to be using one of them.

Not really. Pretty much every fix has either fixed people cheesing encounters to avoid the challenge. In fact I'm surprised they haven't fixed more of the Nightfall/strike exploits. Maybe they're just prioritising the raid right now.

I don't at all, I think it's a very flawed game but I've still enjoyed it. Regardless it's a single player (mostly) game that I'm still playing almost 2 months after launch. Not many other SP/co-op games I can think of that I've played for that long.
 
Gah that was a **** up. Got to the boss room no problem, screwed up trying to jump to that platform. Got utterly destroyed by Minotaurs.

Well, 3rd time lucky getting onto the platform... was getting pounded though and ended up dying.

Yep, and it now requires strategy, team work and communication. Previously you needed one guy who knew how to use the relic and a couple of competent people at shooting. Now you have to communicate as soon as the switch happens. Far more communication, far less carrying weaker team mates.
 
Well so much for the stabilty improvements! I know it's early but I've been disconnected three times now with a monkey error, twice as I was just getting to the nexus on the nightfall. So annoying!
 
Apparently if you stay up top on the boss part of the Nexus, snipe it a few times, run to the cave part and back again, the minotaur doesn't spawn. Not tried it out yet though.
