Is anyone having issues sprinting every now and then? I'm trying to work out if its a controller issue which I don't think it is. I'll go to sprint and then immediately stop, or just stop randomly after sprinting for a while. Really not good when you have a templar shooting you and you need to move quickly, only to get stuck in the mud.

If you're unlucky then maybe yes. I went a few runs just getting shards and energy then in the next one I got two pieces of armour and a sniper.

Annoyingly since I hit 30 I've been getting armour from every trip. Lady luck's got a sense of humour all right :rolleyes:
 
So, I've been playing this for three days now and ive collected enough animal errors to fill Noah's Ark. Does anyone else get disconnected a lot? It's the first game I've ever seen that's like this. My internet connection and router are very well behaved at everything else.
 
Yeah, the disconnects are shocking. I have a rock solid connection to any other game or service, but Destiny is so unreliable. Appaling for such a big title
 
It's bizarre. After I posted, I thought I'd try quitting the game and restarting. Since then, not a single error. I wonder if there's some kind of leak bug.
 
Didn't take long for the hackers to show up, and people are willing to pay for this, i don't understand the mentality of these people :confused::mad::confused:

 
To be fair, ive practically finished the game. All i do now is the same missions with a slight modifier every now and again (nightfall etc). The best guns in the game, dont feel amazing so these mods look like they'd be a right laugh and give a new lease of life to an otherwise exhausted game.

Yes

Done the raid 8 times and only got 2 pairs of boots. 6 runs without any raid armor at all

I've also had

4 x Atheon epilogue
2 x found verdict
1 x vision of confluence
2 x praedith revenge
1 x haven vengeance
2 x speeders

So I've done okay on weapons with 10 of them, but I wish there was a token system or re roll so I could swap my duplicates for some raid armor

second run on the raid and got ............ another Epilogue and chatterwhite oh well 2 more energy


started my second character yesterday but whats the best and faster way to get them up to 20 is it just to play through the "story"
 
Hit 30 this weekend woohoo!

Levelled the warlock alt from 13 > 26 (had gear in the bank for him), looking forward to raiding on 2 characters.

Probably going to start a Titan too, have an exotic chest and 3 purples for the other slots good to go.

Really? £20 is worthwhile for:

  • 2 level raise to the cap
  • 2-3 storyless missions of hold off 3 waves while the robot doesn't do something
  • one strike and a raid
  • and some more weapons for us to beta test before they get nerfed.

It seems even less worth it when you realise the americans pay $19.99 and we pay £19.99. We pay a third more for the same thing for no apparent reason other than it was easier to change the symbol than work out an exchange rate.

Im trying to keep away from destiny whilst i finish shadow of mordor xD..... It's hard to stay away i have only played for a few hours and wow i just want to go and play it.

Our European friends are also paying EUR34.99 for the expansion pass (UK price £34.99) - so much for a single market. I really want to resist buying this.
