I have sent them to this thread, they are really pushing for a refund.. I told them I will test it when it gets sent back before I issue a refund
I'd definitely recommend opening and checking the package before signing for it if they do return it. If it isn't your motherboard then refuse delivery.
Some people even return bits of wood and then tell Paypal they returned the item. Did they pay using Paypal? Paypal finds heavily in favour of buyers to the point of it being abusable.
You might as well just let him return it, it's gonna end up coming to that anyway.
yes they have paid by paypal, however this person has 300 feedback with 100 percent rating. I just think they are generally confused
I told them, you wouldnt send a second hand phone back you bought because it didn't have plastic covering on the screen would you?
So this is a returned due to lack of protective packaging.
I assume this is a reasonable new motherboard that has pins?
I've sold many a motherboard on ebay and to be fair I can't remember if I put the cap on or not, I do keep all the packaging.
But really this should be the motherboard runs or it don't, packaging materials shouldn't count.
Maybe I should reject every PC component that don't come in it's original anti-static bag?
I do hate ignorant consumers. :<
But yeah, pro tips on selling stuff on line wherever it may be.
Always be anal about the detail, only use photos of the actual item and describe any fault, better to under estimate quality than over estimate as your opinion on flawless may not match someone else.![]()
100% the pins will be damaged when it comes back.
Well what ever ebay call it, you can return an item within 14 days still
Not sure if that actually applies to 2nd hand goods though...Credit Consumer Act 2007 - Purchases have a 14 day grace period after purchase if the buyer doesn't need/want/or ask for it.
