I guess that's the benefit of a big car park with hundreds of space, they can park somewhere else?Obviously not by another BMW estate. They "need" more room

Fair enough, I'm just explaining why people may have misconstrued your post.![]()
No problem.
My issue underlaying my point is one of culture actually, that was the bigger point I am pointing towards. We all mess up, but my view is we should own the mess up not try and find reasons how it wasn't out fault. I get nicked for speeding I am annoyed, I think the fine and points are a pain and I would rather not have them, but I sped so my mistake and I take it. I park like and ass and someone calls me on it, tough. £100 is madness and frankly I would imagine would not stand up but I'd fight that aspect not the fact I was a prat for parking like that, which is the wrong angle and frankly a loosing one I'd suggest. Go in and say "it was terrible parking, I parked like a bum, but your fine is a crock" and you have sympathy.
OP this is not aimed at you old boy, not trying to urinate on your chips, just using it as an example. This forum is full of people rightly speaking about people who seem unable or unwilling to take personal responsibility in our society today and this is just one such example, though fine does not fit the crime, no question.
Yes I totally agree, and to be honest personally I would never park like that because I'd be worried about someone bumping into the car over those two spaces it is taking up a good deal of as well.
Does anyone here park in 2 spaces and pay for 2 tickets?
Wow, didn't know you had taken such a pay cut![]()

Taking up an extra couple of feet isn't the same as taking up 6 spaces though is it!
As far as i'm aware, they say the vehicle has to fit within the space and should not overhang the bay, similar to double yellow lines.
