I expect not very many. But again, that's more about what people are choosing to do. I'd forward the idea that Christianity is very moderate primarily because it's popular in countries that are very moderate.

Sky News are showing the police execution video but blanking out the nasty bit.

Basically the terrorists had already shot the Police officer at distance and he's lying on the ground in a bad way. They then walk up and shoot him in the head. And then get in the car and drive off.

An ARV is better-equipped to deal with a threat like this than two routinely-armed officers would be and in London you're never that far away from one anyway.

at least the french police have the means to return fire,albeit not necessarily in a successful manner. Does a Bobby have the same chance... the public doesn't for obvious reasons.

Remember that our police is supposed to be our defence,and if the public is mandated to be unarmed then I at the very least expect an appropriately armed police force.

Ours is not,at least not for me.

I can confirm, that on my morning and evening walk through the city, that I often see armed police carrying assault rifles, I know they're about - they were handing leaflets last week saying it was for our own security.. I hope they stay.

how is that an argument against routinely arming officers anyway? What if an officer could take the shot but has to wait for an ARV?

There's no reason for an unarmed force in the 21st Century except for some tradition that is nonsensical in our day and age.

Arming our police force is giving in to the terrorist. We are a nation of non gun carrying police force, long may it continue.
