The moderate Muslim community needs to do something massive and vocal to show their disassociation with the nutters.

But i don't feel you need to blatantly taunt people, just because you can.
Its like poking the rottweiler with a stick then moaning it bit your arm off.

All religions should be outlawed.

I never said it was a miraculous solution nor did I ignore your point. The routine arming is not just about the next muslim attack.Our cops should be armed anyway.

That is the problem with arming police officers without rigorous continual training.

Obviously we can't see what happened that led to his execution but he was clearly in an exposed area, alone and hopelessly out gunned. A specialist firearms police unit would never have been in that position.

Side arms for police officers are only really going to help in very small scale situations, thankfully something that is rare in the UK due to the difficulties of obtaining arms for the amateur crook.

Only a specialist unit is equipped to take on such terrorists. Arming the day to day policeman would not help in the situation.
