Religion is involved, yes. But it is the excuse that those controlling these men use to maintain their own power.

It always boils down to power and control and religion is an easy thing to use, particulalry when many people in Islamic countries are poorly educated.

However, it would not surprise me if these two men were mercanaries. Guns for hire that fight for any 'cause' as long as the money is good.

I see it's the usual shtick. Islamists carry out a murderous terror attack in a major Western city, storm a building and execute 12 people in the name of Islam because Muslims don't like the cartoons they publish and you have the usual apologists for this barbaric mediaeval death cult all vying to be the first to say 'but it's nothing to do with Islam'.

indeed,more attention being paid to who was suspended for what rather than the death of 12 people.
I'm sure before the end of the day it will all be well and we just have to respect the feelings of muslims a little bit more. Poor things.

That's about as accurate a figure as you'll get. Apart from the figure doesn't come from intelligence agencies, it comes from sociological polling.

In our fair country, when polled, 20% of Muslims back the London bombers. 40% wanted Shariah law. And that poll was done 8 years ago - it's fair to say that radicalisation has increased since then.

Horrible incident RIP

Quite considerably armed these guys quite scary to think they could have pulled that out anywhere in Paris and killed loads more i know maybe that not there target but just show what is capable.

Hopefully they'll be caught soon... though I'm sure if they did shoot up a school the apologists would still be quick to tell us how that has nothing to do with Islam.... Muhammed loved children,after all.
