FreeSync monitors hit mass production, coming in Jan-Feb

Explain to me what wrong with my logic :P (keep in mind iv not said that one tech is better than the other)

Well for starters you have accused NVidia of driving a wedge in the market for not supporting a different method of variable refresh rate, even though they launched their product first.
Which if you were to actually think about it, it would have been kind of difficult for them to support it seeing as it didn't officially exist when they launched Gsync.

Free-Sync isn't even out yet ^^^^

I have been using G-Sync for months, so I am not sure what you are trying to say? As it stands of this day, can you use Freesync? That is rhetorical of course, as we both know the answer is "no" but genuinely, I hope Freesync is as good as G-Sync and doesn't have issues and those that invest in a Freesync monitor enjoy the features as much as I have and do.

Actually, if i was to buy one tomorrow all i will need is for AMD to publish the Driver, if it already isn't in existing Drivers.

Sadly, you are wrong and you would need to send the monitor off to be flashed, so my point stands. I can and do use G-Sync right now but you still can't use Freesync, even though there is a single Freesync capable monitor available to buy but still needs to be sent off for flashing.

I also remember that well over a year ago, nVidia named all those manufacturers you listed as supporting G-Sync, so no different then to now.

At the end of the day, both green and red teams will end up with adaptive v-sync technology's that offer similar results on the screens that could also hopefully bring on a price war that can only benefit us, the customers.

pff u only waste your gsync on unity anyway
so are we back to the default now of "you cant buy freesync yet, NVidia wins!"
*yawn* :)

Did they? as i remember it they listed just one. the Asus.

Who's to say Freesync will be any good ? AMD's implementation of Mantle at first was a farce, everything they touch is comical from the death before it was alive true audio and the fantastic tressfx. AMD have to get this right using a driver. That in itself is scary.

I think most are crying out for 144hz, 1440p, IPS.

There is a Gsync version on the way and I'm sure a Freesync wont be far behind. I love a good AMD Vs NVidia war but when it comes to screens I couldnt give two hoots to be honest.

Erm, nothing different to what I'm doing now? It's not like you'll buy one anyway. Hell I'll probably have one before you :p

Sick burn.

There's some stupid cheap 4k monitors about, it's all getting too hard.

Just want a free sync 29" 3440X1440 monitor for 500 pound. But apparently not a single one is available, (even without sync)
