If you are offended by cartoons of a sky genie or a manga character than you are extreme. Are there people killing people over manga cartoons? no? ok so yes it is extreme to be offended by a depiction of your sky god. It is beyond extreme to want to protest or shut down magazines and it is off the charts extreme to organise a mass murder about a cartoon.

Moderate religion is a joke. It is just religious people who are essentially claiming that their religion is being misinterpreted and that the "true religion" does not condone that. Funny thing is, the people committing the murders say exactly the same thing about the moderates. So who is correct? they are both religious and both extreme, just to different degrees. You moderate today and a murderer tomorrow given the right circumstances. Its built in to the religion, religion has built in defence mechanism. Go a head and try shut down religious buildings in the uk and see all these moderates show their true face.

He's not defending it - simply stating that it was inflammatory material that was published which has now ended in something terrible. It's funny how anyone pro-muslim on here is automatically seen as 'defending' an act of terrorism. Pathetic really - always the same few on here pushing their hate.

Anyways - Have these guys been caught yet? - I'm surprised how three fully hooded men can perform an act like that in the middle of town and get away! One of them has a grenade launcher!!

Hope they get caught and strung up quickly.

I think you are an extremist for telling me how to feel and dictating what I should and shouldn't feel, don't take my right to be offended away.

Religion is not the only cause of violence, the two biggest wars to take place in the world were all over nationalism and it continues to create wars too. So nationalism must be destroyed too.

First off the terrorists demands were not "don't mock us in failing to attack" they were more stop "insulting their religion and prophet" . So lets put that to bed.

The point I was actually making, well if you allow me to make it instead of inserting your own, it appeared to be baiting terrorists for no real gain. Like "haha you haven't attacked us, you are useless" If a poster like that is aimed at would be terrorists, what use does it achieve other than actually inviting an attack. Terrorist have additional motivation, "lets prove them wrong".

He is defending it by proxy. He is effectively say you must comply otherwise you will face the consequences of terrorists.

And pro-Muslim is not automatically defending terrorism but promoting appeasement is.

Yes I know why as well, we have managed to loose our shackles on a belief system and build a productive generally positive society. Sure it's not perfect and it's creaking at the seams due to the wealth disparancy but it has moved humanity forward more than anything else
