Shooting at French Satirical Magazine

I just hope that we don't retaliate the way they want us to - i.e. all out war and right wingism. This will be a dark time if we head down that route.

The muslim islamist terrorists know this and that's why they(scum) will carry on doing it.
Good job we wasn't a push over like you in brum when the IRA bombed us ;)

You didn't address that last point so I will reiterate it for effect(because I agree with lemonade here):

Pakistan authorises the drones. It is far fetched, but if the UK authorised the drones what could you do about it? If you wanted to hide in a small village with al-qaeda in your example then it's your choice, I wouldn't want to.

Piece of **** with a couple of FLIR equipped helicopters.

Tin foil tent ;)

What about if the al-qaeda moved into the flat above you and there was no way you could move out (money concerns and other various reasons)?

I'm sure your argument will be something along the lines of "I'll just live on the street" or "Back to the parents we go!" but if you seriously believe that everyone that is killed as a result are simply collateral damage and complicit then you are an extremist in your own right.

Couldn't disagree more I'm afraid.

Considering the high probability of a global food shortage, poorer nations will frankly collapse and they will be streaming to our borders in the millions.

Unsustainable population growth eventually solves itself somehow, either through the immediate or the slow suffering alternative.

I do disagree obviously, but things look like crap from my perspective.

The most worrying thing is, only recently 'The terrorists' (can't remember if it was Al Qaeda or not) said that America, Britain and France where in the list of targets in that order.

For the Brits they said Easy Jet and British Airways where targets.

Hope that doesn’t mean this is going to start up over here!

Thread is getting way out on control now.

Off the racism topic, nice to see other cartoonists putting up drawings in support of those who died. I think the one with the broken pencils is very deep but puts a fantastic point across.

Apart from the fact that Pakistan was coerced and dragged into the war on terror under Mr Musharraf, they have objected to and told the Americans many times to stop the drone strikes, half the time it was violation of their sovereignty too.

As for Al-Qaida hiding, most of the people living in these areas have lived here all their lives generations after generations, it is their homes, their farms, lands, their livelihood, their life, why would they leave? and what makes you think they know some Al Qaida operatives are driving past their village or is hiding under a tent next door.

What should happen now?

As I see it these two were allowed into France, they were then orphaned and France continued to care for them and how did they repay the nation that looked after them, by murdering people who drew cartoons.

If they want peace hand over the militants and terrorists they protect, otherwise the US and Pakistani army will come and get them.

Who should come and hand over militants? A 10 year old child should come and hand over Bin Laden to the authorities, otherwise be killed by a drone. Okey doke.

Forgive the use of Wikipedia, GIGN are the French military's elite counter terrorism team. There's also RAID, who are their civil equivalent, part of the French National Police. Highly trained, well equipped and experienced, these guys are a nightmare to the likes of the Charlie Hebdo attackers.

I'm guessing the full works are mobilised for something like this including GIPN, RAID and GIGN.

If they move in I'm moving out. You can be the richest man in the graveyard if you want, I'd be off.
