Yeah looks like it, £41 and there is a test center in southampton so not a problem if I do have to get it done.

Unless it's changed I don't think bikes need a VIC done.

Was that easy to fit? I was looking at the Beowolf exhausts the other day and have a Bandit too. Also, do you need to remap?

The only problem I had was with a seized bolt in the clamp on the collector box underneath the engine, once that was dealt with it was plain sailing, no remap or rejet necessary if all your doing is swapping the end can & keeping the baffles in, tho you can get it done if you want, but Beowulf say you don't need to.

if you do get one don't forget to get a new gasket for the collector box where it meets the link pipe, which I completely forgot about, luckily I didn't damage mine so I got away with it, oh & have an angle grinder on standby in case you have to cut the collector box clamp bolt like I had to, as its in a dumb position so it catches all the muck from the front wheel, & is made of chocolate so its damn near impossible to get the bolt out without rounding it off.

I zip tied my chain guard back on as the rear bolt decided it was sick of being attached to the bike and decided to depart.

Thought my headlight bulb/fuse had blown as riding in this morning neither main or dipped beam was working - but the flasher button was.

Turns out the starter button wasn't popping out fully, and as it kills the headlight when starting it wasn't coming back on! Crisis averted!!

Get some lock lube in there if its sticking, fairly common on bikes!

Yesterday I took the dirt bike out in some dirt...

On the way home it started bogging down again, 1st gear around 13mph, 2nd around 20mph...

I've checked the air filter, seems to be okay...

So I assume there's a fuel flow issue. Will drop it back round the mechanics later today.

I quite like the new headlights actually, which is why I went for a 2012 model as it's the only one with the bug headlights and dual underseat exhaust.

All the later models have the crap underslung exhaust.
