I'm surprised there's not already a thread up for this show. It's one of my absolute favourite TV shows, and definitely my favourite comedy show.

First episode of season 10 was broadcast last night in the US, haven't seen it yet, but can't wait to get home and watch it!

Any other fans here?
 
I'm pretty sure I made an attempt at an it's always sunny thread in the past but form what I remember the forumites taste in comedy is somewhat lacking from the amount of replies recieved in there :p

Great to see the gang on form again, this episode had some great lines. Like Frank "checking out the chum".

Can't wait for the next episode.
 
Just gave the first episode a go on Netflix and didn't find it that funny. However, pilots are not always the best episodes so I'll give a few more a go and I do like Charlie Day in the Horrible Bosses films.
 
You have to have a certain sense of humour for this one i think. I thought it was very funny, but i only know one other person that watches it :)

The first series is quite weak compared to the rest, the characters and writing improve hugely from season 2 onwards, that and Danny Devito joins the gang then.

Going by the first episode I assume you mean a lack of for certain sense of humour.

I won't give up on the first series then, I've done that before, Arrow for example.
 
This had some hilarious seasons up until 7 or 8 I think and then it got terrible and I stopped watching it. The earlier ones have some classic episodes though. Danny Devito had the best lines. "RUM HAM! I'm sorry Rum Ham!" :D
 
Good god man, this show is amazing.

Champion of the sun, he's a master of karate, and friendship, for everyone!

Started watching a few years ago and did them all back-to-back in a matter of weeks. The last season really wasn't that great though (although it had its moments).

They filmed that for peanuts you know. They had no budget whatsoever. Honestly keep watching, it is an absolutely smashing show. If I had one wish, it would be to erase my memory so I could watch them all a fresh. :cool:

If you haven't, I'd give up on Arrow. :p
 
I have one more episode to see in season 1 and so far I am struggling. The problem is I don't like any of the characters, especially Charlie with the fake cancer and robbing the bar, so I'm hoping Danny DeVito is likeable when he joins in season 2. If anyone can take a reasonably unlikeable person and turn them into a great character it's him, Louie De Palma anyone?
